Sent the evening decompressing w/C-Money at his favorite eatery Topolabompo! Nice to be able to talk about the days activity on the net w/someone who's eyes don't glaze over at the mention of NCDSA and the characters involved. Later we took in a show of the Blue Man Group and then they were off to the House of Blues whilst I headed home to cozy up w/my new 'puter and upgraded Prism (Palm OS wireless device). For now peace prevails on the site and... ...Life is good. Thanks for the enjoyable evening Carl!

Hey bro I meant no disrespect. Whatever is something I've said way before you came upon this site. as for the holes in my board...I bought a new one but mom says I can't ride it less I buy some protective gear and I said, "Dude,Whatever" she got pissed and hit me. I rode off into the rain and my board got water logged..whatever!

I thought that SpeedBall was putting in his late vote on the various topics that preceeded Bob's post. Seems like he just lacked a sense of timing. In any case a "Whatever...." from him might be more like a sign of approval (and not disrespect)... or whatever.

yes, it appears speedball lives and to place a post like that after a gentleman like Bob Staton's post makes me think he is a bit disrespecful to those that road before us. speedball, you may be fast and you may be bad, but some of these guys were doing hills on steel and clay wheels before you knew what the word skateboard was. a little respect goes a long way. peace.

Bob Staton, don't ever feel lonely. when you rode down that hill on that steel wheeled plank you inspired a whole bunch of us. I am a guy that sat with you a little while and thanked you. i am sure there where many others, so if you don't remember me i wore a sidewalk surfer racing shirt. you are a credit and inspiration to all skaters, keep doing what you do. i took my e-mail address & knickname came from being the only person i skated with, me. when i got to this site and finding fellow skaters and making friends i didn't even know till La Costa (and some i hadn't seen for many years) you are not alone. i will see you again in 2002 at one race or another. George.

Good evening. Thank you Alen and GBJ for your responces. I get lonley for peer contact and interaction...and I 'm deeply interested in the organizational end of things so I wander over here from the freestyle page from time to time. I did not know that a world organization was such a difficult thing, good thing I did not come around here sooner or I probably would not have started one. You mentioned currency exchange rates and I can relate to that. Last week one of the competitors at our last contest, took home a check, to Sweden, for $25.00 and it cost him $15.00 to cash it.
I want to see how you guys opperate and what succes you have, and maybe I can reverse engineer some things back in to my organization, before the accountants show up. Anywho...I agree (already) that the mock WSRA should be WSSRA. There are a lot of initals floating around and I was wondering what, if any, slalom orgs. do exist, and which ones are in the 'for real' planning stage. I do have a successful Am slolom past history, and I am looking to compete on the AM level this year. Anything in the works?
CFSL is the California Freestyle Skateboard League and Am slalom will be a part of the program.

I'm protesting that last statement about me! Damn it that was a frivilous use of my name! And give me top shelf or hear me bitch while I still drink it! I highly recommend Hendricks Gin distilled in Scotland. (Hints of citrus and cucumber.) And Guinness can never be at it's peak from a bottle no matter what they say!

Chief Taste Tester it`ll be. I will be diligent-ly at my duties. And aftertaste? That`s what limes are for....yeah, thats it.
On a more serious note...for those of us that are anticipating hosting an event this year, we as knuckleheads we are, need to push the envelope on this matter.... Dates for 2002.
I know permits and insurance details haven`t been worked out yet but preliminary dates can be posted on the events calanders. Just put it as "Pending final authorization" and not have the sign-up link working just yet.
I ask this because there are those of us that have to use our vacation time to be able to participate and a lot of companies want your requested holidays way in advance.
Once the ball starts rolling, others will join in to secure their dates. And I see this as being a buisy season.
Back to the lighter side....P@io,,,you in?

Marsala is quiet in his own way, Claude ..on the top is bald and grey,The green shirts are worn with an abundance of pride ,Nothing will fade them not even a box o'tide! Alan started something he cannot stop, Cause we're on a roll..straight to the top!! And to all the other 46 members next time it's you I will remember! We are Big.. I haven`t received my latest addition of our gazette (OUCH) just when I thought it was safe to put me hand down, and along comes the paper boy. Good shot he is too!
Welcome Brian P and Adam T though I dissolve any acknowledgement of knowing you. Especially if we hook up in A-dam....and maybe not intentionally.
Can I nominate myself Sergeant of Rating (or is it ranting) in regards to the aforementioned window shopping? Or I could just simply be the taste tester (I wouldn`t want my fellow knuckleheads to be poisonned`) {how is it spelled in french?}
Or maybe just as Dave suggested...the tokem limey (no offense UK`rs)
AAARRRGHHH!!! I know what meant, not what I said, heh?

I love it... only on NCDSA, where the chief bottle washer can be considered a king! We have a Sergeant at Harms, a Chairman of the Bored and some guy named slappy who never seems happy (now that takes the cheese).
Let's welcome Brian P, and adam [t] to this august (now that's warm for December) gathering of Knuckleheads! All salute... (Ouch! oUch! ouCh! oucH!)
Welcome aboard! pssst... you can all put your hands down now!

Hooked up with Mr. & Mrs. physcholloyd on a breeze thru Chi-town. A pleasant and amiable guy, not the complete bastard he seems on this site (oh wait, thats arab). Got the lowdown on Alan's projects, wait till you guys see the Wicked board, beautiful form and pure function. It's a killer.
It's always nice to get a chance to admire and fondle another man's quiver, not that there's anything wrong with that.
