hey Mikey Stride No reason to hide under a fictitious name here, why?
How many Brits did Hitler Kill anyways? I heard of whole towns male populations from 16 to 33 getting wiped out.
Your Anti American Rhetoric, Along with your Anti British Rhetoric is a slap in the face to those who fight for freedom just for you!
Theresa Green-I know thats not your real name but since this is the name you use I'll address it as that. I never sent you an Email, I dont respond to emails from people I do not like, I did respond to Michael Strides emails because he is such a whineing sniveler he needed a good slap in the face to bring some sense to himself, If he shared the Email with you then I find that to be pretty lame since it was between he and I, But thats the type of guy he is, Glad to see all you Brity Whiners jumping on me.
Go have some tea and crumpets, I'm gonna watch the war on TV today, I heard the US was winning.

longy, Hopefully that was a typo and you meant KOOKS. Gooks is a dirogative word aimed at those of oriental descent. My wife is chinese and I`m extremely offended by that word...
Now back to your regular skate related, uh, er, political posts...

Well, y'all can banter back and forth all you want, but when you get right down to it, the only "war rally" that matters was held November 5th, 2002. At that rally the Party that supports the policies of President George Bush received a majority of the votes. The Party that supports George Bush retained control the House of Representatives. The Party that supports George Bush regained control the Senate. The Party that supports George Bush gained control of 29 state houses. Furthermore, the members of the loyal opposition who expressed the most support for President Bush's policies towards the war on terror and the position on Iraq received a larger percentage of the vote compared to their comrades who did not.
In other words, the majority of the VOTING American people support President Bush and his stance on Iraq. And that's really the only constituency that matters. Although I would never tell LAW whether or not they can march peacefully in support of their own notions, all the placards in the air and speeches on the Mall you can muster just don't matter. It's the speech everyone gives in the volting booth that matters and those were all overwhelmingly in support of the President. (Although I must confess I have said I don't think the NCDSA "Events" forum is an appropriate place to organize a political rally under the guise of "longboarders against war." That's my opinion and it hasn't changed.)
Get on board or don't. It doesn't matter whether a minority of people in this country support war with Iraq or don't. You had your only real chance to make your viewpoint relevant November 5 and failed. That's life in America. What a great place to live.

Definately NOT Jeff. You post was SPOT ON! It`s the other posts I was referring to that have ONLY political overtures and are NOT skate related.
I also have opinions on war but choose not to express them here because of two reasons... 1) Duh, it`s a skate forum 2) I don`t have all the facts and s`pose nobody does either

The only war I promote is the war on my aging self. Sometimes I have to force myself to ride my skateboard against the will of sore knees, ankles, and whatever.
But I also know that sometimes politics can get intertwined with skateboarding. Whether it be from logos to LAW`s skate against war.
The higher calling would be to NOT make personal attacks other individuals on the forums. Yeah, I know, I`ve been guilty of it before. But the calling out of others does no good promotion toward the sport....SKATEBOARDING.
So if you are so inclined to make a post directed at any individual, or make a comment that is not skate related, I ask that you...
STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD,
GO GRAB YOUR SKATEBOARD,
AND GO TAKE A RIDE!

war is war, if you dont like what we do as a country you have choices of what you can do. move to a another country nothing bitch or ask stupid questions on a skateboard forum this place is for skateboarding , enough people fight and bicker over stupid things like witch trucks are the best and now you want to enter duce war as a topic please everyone give it up. politics are best left off this forum only because this is all are country and we all have different opinions. the last thing i want is to see a bunch of war crap on this site. if i say i support war i will offend people, if i say i dont support war then i will offend people. get it, leave it a lone, or make you own web site with a war forum. its a no win deal. yes there are a lot more things you can do other than the ones i listed. and if any of you do something to chang what's going on in the middle east i will personally come kiss your ass. this is just my opinion so if it make you feel any better slam away.

John Airey.... Arab REALLY is that dumb. FAct! Every forum is tainted by his presence. Geez, he even answers questions on Mike Maysey's forum 'to help out'. This guy sends disgusting e-mails, he promotes one brand of truck to the exclusion of being open minded about anothers cababilities. He insults people, he frightens them away from forums and this site. Nope. Arab is a closed minded bigot who talks a load of bunk.

i do not believe america is justified in going to war with iraq. iraq had nothing to do with the terrorist attacks on september 11. i feel that President Bush can not make a non biased decision with iraq after his father's history with iraq.

hey arab you didnt answer the question, you just spouted rhetoric.(not that i asked you anyway) did you learn that from dubya? hey arent you the eric groff who sent me a far right wing hate circular which included a statement expressing the desire to "put a stop to those free thinkers for good"? and a whole bunch of other dangerous racist twaddle. yeah, i thought so. 3000 people in a day is nothing compared to the millions who died of famine in the horn of africa following americas missile attack on Somalias only pharmaceutical plant. no veterinary medicines, no antimalarials, how did you expect them to live? 3000 is nothing compared to the estimated 400 000 who died in americas illegal bombing of cambodia. 3000 of you is nothing to me compared to my one brother in law who was murdered by the IRA using funds generated in the city of new york. when will we see those us citizens who financed terror in my town sent to guantanamo? when will we see a war on the right wing death squads funded by the usa who just last night murdered another 16 civilians in columbia? when will we see any evidence that iraq is involved with al -qaeda? the answer is never. arab, (oh the irony of it!!!) you call it politics but it is infinitely much more important than that. we all have a duty to speak out against fascism and those like you who seek to be servile will perhaps one day be brought to book for being collaborators and protagonists. god i hope so. you wanna talk terror weapons? only the usa has shown willingness to use atomic weapons in a first strike capability you wanna talk human rights? texas executes more people than iraq, including juveniles and the educationally subnormal. you wanna talk funding al -qaeda? "the base" was originally set up and financed as a US proxy tool to fight communism in southern USSR by george bush sr. you have him to thank for the whole show. The very concept of jihad as holy war was repopularised on his orders afetr being out of fashion for nearly 800 years. you dont like my answer do you eric? you have no justification for your words do you? will you threaten to kick my ass again? yep, sounds about right.

JonnyX, In response to your question on Make Mayseys Q&A forum.
Do you think terrorist are justified in killing innocent people, includeing Americans and Iraqis.
War is not pretty, neither are terrorist like those that killed over 3000 people on 4 different planes and 3 different buildings in the good ol US of A, or leaders like Stalin,Hitler,Mao or Hussein.

not to distract from the worthy cause being currently discussed, or compete with mr. maysey's cool forum, but does anybody think an 'ask mr. eric "arab" groff' forum would be cool? (assuming he had the time/inclination to answer our questions of course).
I've never met him in real life, but my internet impression is that the dude is funny, and smarter than he pretends to be. he can race (and keyboard race) with the best of them. he has an answer for every question. he probably knows every name in the index of "the answer is never".

Jack Jr's Cross Country Trip
I know a bunch of us have been looking for an opportunity to do something nice for Jack Jr. Well here we go!
Nick and I want to kick things off by selling one of our boards with the proceeds going directly to help Jack Sr. get cross-country. (Pristine 60" One Way swallow tail complete)
Further details on Buy-Sell-Trade. And for the record Jack, I assume none of this money will be used for the electric Exkate board?

I'd come of you held it on a decent hill with a good surface Wes. I didn't race at the bus terminal because it wasn't what I'd practiced for and frankly flat land slalom will just never be my thing.
I don't "longboard" slalom so that's out. Make it a Big TS and Hybrid event and I'll bring several people with me who will race and have fun.
If Brady can't let it go he's the one who misses out on a great get together.
I'm all for it even though my travel time just went up another 7hrs.

In Spring 2003, four skateboarders from around the country will set a world record when they push skateboards almost 3000 miles from Oregon to Virginia in a little over three weeks. The world record skateboard attempt will be a way to draw attention to a rare disease called Lowe Syndrome that currently afflicts the son of one of the skateboarders. Jack Smith, leader of the trek across the U.S., has a 14-year-old son, Jack Jr., who was born with Lowe Syndrome. Jack Jr. who lives in Colorado with his mother and brother is in the final stages of Lowe Syndrome.
"My son has been an incredible inspiration to myself and many others, whose lives he has touched. This is my chance to pay him back for all that he has taught me"
Smith, along with friends Paul Dunn, Bob Denike, and Gary Fluitt set the world skateboard distance record nearly twenty years ago when they completed the transcontinental skate in 26 days. "This time it will be a lot harder" Smith said "we're all in our 40's now, we have jobs and families, and pushing a skateboard 150 miles a day isn't so easy on old bones".
The team is currently seeking sponsors for the trek. All proceeds generated from pledges will be donated to The Lowe Syndrome Association. www.lowesyndrome.org. The cross-country team consists of Jack Smith, Jeff Reynolds, Paul Dunn and Gary Fluitt. Jack has made the crossing twice, once in 1976 and again in 1984. Longtime friends Paul and Gary joined him on the 1984 trek. The 1984 trip raised $15,000 for The Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Promotional opportunities: National / local print and television coverage. Daily web reports, including video streaming, from the road. Live coverage via Fox, EXPN, etc... Product Placement: Automobiles, RV, cell phone, computer products, athletic shoes and apparel, health care products, skateboard equipment. The trip will be documented by a film crew for possible cable broadcast. If you are interested in becoming an Official Sponsor please contact: Jack Smith phone 805-597-5722 Email: jack@videoactionsports.com

Cliff,
I'm sitting here pretty much minding my own business when on Thursday, Chuck Gill, who's a helluva guy, (the "rocket scientist" in Florida,) suggests, "Maybe Wesley T. can step up and organize something in Charleston / Folly." Then a day later, Tasos Tageniedes, organizer of the original race at Folly last summer, announces, "Get Wesley to do it downtown and call it the EAST COAST CHAMPIONSHIPS."
Now, I didn't solicit these. Since I'm the one living 20 minutes from the Bus Terminal, though, it's is a natural conclusion for skaters to encourage me to organize some sort of event. I'm flattered, to say the least. I don't know if I'm capable or even motivated, but certainly flattered.
Yet, at the last Folly race, there were somewhere between 50 and 60 skaters through the course of the weekend involved in the event. With the exception of Paul Price, Pierre Samray, Lee Starr and Chris Chaput, ALL were East Coasters. (Debs was there, but she didn't skate:-) After the event, some month later as a matter of fact, Brady Mitchell said on this forum that MOST of the skaters told him at the race they considered me the worst part of the whole weekend. According to Brady, my involvement all but ruined the weekend's events. Now, some months later, skaters who were part of the original race are asking me to organize another event at the same venue.
So on the one hand I've got some skaters saying I should do the race. On the other, there's the unsubstantiated rumor that a large majority of skaters at the last event don't want me involved with another. This has nothing to do with Brady, other than he's the one spreading the rumor. It has to do with East Coast skaters and whether or not they would attend an event I would organize. At least two say I could do it, and at least one person purports to represent many who says my involvement would be a sure way to kill it.
That's what I put on this bulletin board originally and pretty much what I'm repeating. Now, why can't I put that on the bulletin board and try to get an answer?
