Adjustable trucks
On 7/23/2006 Rick from OZ wrote in from Australia  (203.129.nnn.nnn)

G'day
There was a deck shown here a little while back that had an adjustable truck, similar to the GOG truck, built in at each end with a little lever like on a quick release bike wheel to hold things at the desired angle. Can anyone remember some details on that?
Cheers

Exkate trks
On 7/21/2006 steve wrote in from United States  (205.246.nnn.nnn)

I put a pair of Exkates @29 1/2" wheel base on a 40" G & S. I installed the green torsion bushings. It's a stable cruser and carves as good as my Carve-Stik.
Has anyone had bad luck with these trucks?

GOG Rear TRK

I've been kick'in around ideas for adjustable angle trucks. The one from Germany looks good, If it could be adjusted while on the role, that would be bad ass.

up trucks
On 7/20/2006 herbn wrote in from United States  (64.12.nnn.nnn)

yeah they do have a"longboard truck" but a molded out of on piece of urithane truck might be a functioning novelty on a cruize around town longboard i kind of doubt it can be substituted for a randal dh or any top dollar billet dh truck with balljoint pivots and such.

lets' see luis is looking for a speed truck.... you've had good luck with "up trucks" on a slalom board, yet "go check them out and keep an open mind at ....blah blah .com" well that is either a plug or some sort of internet nonsequiter(sp)well luis, while you're checking out molded urithane slalom trucks to use instead of a machined precisely pivoting sadly unavailable, made for dh,real skateboard truck, check out some stylish arguyle socks at flip skateboards .com i've had good luck with them.

Trucks 4 speed & slalom
On 7/17/2006 Guto J wrote in from Brazil  (200.165.nnn.nnn)

Luis Lins from Switzerland: I think you and all open-minded riders out there should give a try on the urethane-made Up Trucks. I have a set on a slalom board and believe me, they're the best trucks I've used on a slalom board on my 30 years of skating. They have the pastest response ever and I guess it's impossible for them to bend. Just to make things clear: I'm NOT a company's employee, sales rep or whatever. I'm just a stunned consumer who already had a prejudiced view on the truck but was convinced by its performance. Check them out on www.uptrucks.com.br and make your own conclusions. Good luck!

those are cool
On 7/17/2006 herbn wrote in from United States  (205.188.nnn.nnn)

lets' see, questions. Are they mainly for racing? do they lean as far as regular trucks? how much do they weigh? do you think hangers with various rakes will be avilable? or have ajustable rake hangers been considered? is there one or are there two ball joints?

chicago trucks
On 7/17/2006 buddy rawls wrote in from United States  (128.158.nnn.nnn)

I have really enjoyed riding old restored chicago trucks on one of my retro boards. But, recently I obtained some that were practically new, with no hanger pivot wear. I installed some real nice conical shaped rubbers. If any of you guys have not ridden one of the archaic set-ups in pristine condition, you are missing out on something that is really cool. The worn ones were worth talking about. The new ones are out of this world. My 28x6 rockered deck with chicagos and cadillac (reissues) is one of the funnest cruiser boards I have. If anyone is working on some early to mid 70's retro riders, dont hesitate to go with some chicago's. Some of the later versions even had 5/16 precision axles. Roller skate bases can be removed and installed on a baseplate adapter to work just like the skateboard versions. Very fun riding.

Trucks for downhill Speed
On 7/15/2006 Luis Lins Tdois wrote in from Switzerland  (83.77.nnn.nnn)

i looking for new trucks for downhill speed, im tired about my s#@! randal, model 160, model 180 and compII, many problems, bend so easy, every time i have wobbles.
i would like to buy trucks for high performance, i think so only Magun trucks and JimZ.
First my ideia is buy Radikal trucks, i did ready the order with the Radikal, but now i wait 2 month for nothing, i dont understand, why the people put in the market new products if can't make delivery, or dont have in stock, now i lost 2 months, im live in Europe, the races almost for finish.
If somebody knows good trucks high perfomance and fast delivery not 2 months for nothing, please let me know..

really thanks

Secret all star: My previous post may have sounded like "I gotcher nukular pickles rye cheer", followed by Michael Jackson grab, but I actually have a couple of those bad a** trucks for sale. First dibs to you, man (or Norski, if yer out there), but in two days I offer them to the public. They used to sell for about $90 new but I'll cut ya a little slack. Radikal - New axle material
On 7/13/2006 Jack wrote in from United States  (71.9.nnn.nnn)

This just in...

From this point forward Radikal axles will be manufactured using spring steel, heat treated chromoly. This is due to the quadrupling price of TI.

Axle and hanger production is running full tilt.

Anyone out there have any experience with any trucks other than Randals for a Loaded Vanguard? I'm curious if Originals or Revenge trucks are too turny for such a flexible deck--what about Seismics? Thanks gang!
