Thanks Buddy. That's great to hear about the clear top bushings. I've been sanding the old stock Tracker ones down to fit the shorter kingpin on the 120mm Orion Ultimate trucks that I use for freestyle. I had Linda put me on the list.

YOYO. original clear top cushions are in the works! The only change will be to the size. To work with the smaller kingpins they will be slighty shorter. As you remember these where the number one choice of just about every freestyler through-out the 80's. Anybody interested in purchasing a set please give us a call and get on the list, as soon as they are available we'll send'em out to ya. When you call ask for Linda call us 1 800 206 5280 or 760 722 1455 Buddy

Hi Jeremy,
yes, my new YOYO model will be out in the US probably next week. Available through Casperindustries; www.casperindustries.com
The yoyoskates.com is a refererence for what I have been doing in the past, still selling some stuff that I have here in Germany. Most requests in Europe are for a complete setup and that's why I have been pushing it with products that work and are available.
I have been riding Trackers for the last two decades and Tracker always supported me.The reason why I do not sell Tracker Fultracks here in Germany is the fact that they do not fit 100% with the Roll Line wheels and second the German distributor just added them when I already had a working setup. A direct import for little quantities just costs too much; one truck would cost about $30 retail at least.
Buddy at Tracker: Just go......and re-issue the clear extra hard outer grommets as well as some other stuff. I'd be glad to help you as much as I can. Say HI to Larry! You guys rock!!!

This is good, the more info i can get better. Here at the Tracker Trucks factory we are putting a lot of focus back into the freestyle market. As one of the longest running truck companies i feel it important to focus attention back to the early creators of todays modern street skating. We are currently working on new cushions and other "freestyle" specific trucks and equipment. At Tracker we realize the foundation that the early freestyle skaters layed for the "street" heros of today.
Thanks for all of your input and i welcome tons more. Sincerely, Buddy

About board setup & trucks. Hi Buddy,
I am riding 57mm wheels w/o any risers. Trucks are cut down (to 4.5''hangerwidth) Tracker Darts. The deck is a double kick/ concave Freestyle shape. Take a look at the deck at www.yoyoskates.com. Except for the trucks, this is the setup I am riding & selling.

Im also riding 56mm wheels on a normal street deck. I use riser pads but like the lower trucks, tightend to the max. Id also like to add, i appear to have lost my balance and can't even pull of a full 360. Shall go to the docs and ask 4 my head checked. Im quite disstressed, i keep falling over about 270!

Lengthy, entertaining interview with mini-ramp freestyle skater Todd Falcon in the May 2002 (#84) issue of Big Brother. I'm biased because I favor mini-ramps but even if you don't skate at all you can respect this guy's attitude, commitment and funny outfits.

buddy-
i use a 56mm wheel, regular cut since i don't do that many rail tricks. i don't use any shock or riser pads. i prefer higher trucks. i use a regular street board for freestyle; some of the kids think i don't do any tricks because my board and trucks don't have any marks on them, it's pretty funny. hope that helps you out...

Ok freestyle guys help me out here. What size wheels are most of you running on freestyle set ups? Are you using any type of riser pad? Do you prefer a "Low" truck or "high" style truck? Traditional single kick or double kick? How bout some feedback? Thanks

As for the landing of the long the rider must remain on the landed board past the ten foot marker like in the high jump. I don't know if this was standard I assume it was. This is what was used for the Canadian Nationals.

Kaylee have never seen a size limit on wheels. the idea of using aboard that would act as a trampoline would hurt the landing. sometimes the landings are tough. Especially at higher heights.
Long jump has a board at the other end fo you to land on. when jumping cars you can try a couple of methods. Use a second deck on the other side or have your board roll under the car. both require lots of pratice and perfect take-offs. the take-off is probably the most important part of the high jump. Being able to reach good height all comes down to your athletic ability.

I beleive they placed another board on the other side of the barrels to land on,you ride up jump over the barrels(leaving the board behind) and land on the other

cheers, me and my flatmate are having a good head to head comp on the sidewalk of our flat, we have even made two variable hight jumps so we can do back to back tricks. we can both do 180 body varials real easy and confidently, but are having trouble doing 360 body varials over the jumps, does anyone have any tips? also, what is the barrell jump they speak of at the z-games? is it just basically jump as many barrells as you can, is there a landing ramp?

Is there a maximum wheel size for the high jump? Would using 101mm Flywheels and XTreme risers be cheating? How about a super-camber deck like a Pumpkin for a trampoline effect?

Cliff your right on with the 10 foot finnish rule. Board must cross finnish line with the rider on board.
Jimi record is around 5'3". As Cliff says tuck your legs up as high as you can. try brining your your feet up to the side of your body this will add clearance. Most guys were ridding around a 40" decks. Big wheels and risers for extra height.
Take off - this is not smoething that a long run up is nescessary so practice with perhaps a 20'or start if you find you need more that's fine. Flat foot jumps helps keep the board moving forward. Hpe that helps some. If you can find a copy of Radical Moves (Expo 86 World Championships) it shows some of the Hgh Jump event. If you have any further questions you can e-mail me directly I was the head Official.

Jimi,
Don't take this as set in stone but here is how I think it goes. I can't remember any limit on how much of a start the rider is allowed. Most used pretty long boards. I do know that the rider after landing on the board once the jump has been made, must ride at least ten feet before either falling or getting off of the deck.
Most jumpers leap with their legs drawn up and to the side. The only person I saw do it with his legs crossed was Tom Sims.
