Guess it's been about 4 months since I posted a video link here... so I'll post the latest from the CORE TOUR in Broadband and DialUp, and the link to see more I've not posted here.
HiSpeed Connection Huntington Beach Dial-Up Connection Huntington Beach
There are a couple double backflips in there by Jason Small, and some sick and twisted stuff by Leon Robbins and Jereme Leafe going 1-2. Akoni Kama took out a cameraman on the side... that is shown in slow-mo' and zoomed in to see. It was pretty sweet, y'all should try to make it out there next year for sure.
Link to see more HERE.

Who was that skater sliding in Gleaming the Cube?

David,
The sliding skater in Gleaming the Cube was Richie Dunlop. He also did the stunt sliding in "Thrashin". He originally moved out here from the East Coast in about 1982. He also is one of two skaters in the Powell video, "Future Primitive".
Rich was renting a room as was I in a Berkeley house at the bottom of Centenial road. Jim Cluggish also came out West at the time Rich did. I skate with Jim to this day. He is featured on the Gravityboard web-site, located on the video page. He is also featured on both the "Flow" and "Twenty to Life" videos.
Hope that answers your question David.

This is making me sad. Its like good guy's vs good guy's. Dont take it so badly. If you cant take critisism on the net then don't post. If they said way cool things then we'd all be happy. Lets get over the vids and website thing because its not relevant. The OST team are doing a good thing in there minds and thats good enough for me. Promoting downhill in Australia needs doing. Although this website has a good Asia/Pacific area that serve us very well already. Power to you OST. Stay focused. Move ahead. Its always hard to take bad critisism. But if you do then you win.

Ohh thats right we're all supposed to be real serious. No-one but OST has ever stacked before, No-one but OST has ever riden a board after a few beers before, Everyone ALLWAYS wears the right safety gear(except for OST of course) when riding. The only video you can make is at a "legal" race or road. We're all gotta have the same homoganised look and attitude and NEVER HAVE ANY FUN. Sorry we didn't get the Downhill Skater rulebook, is there a picture version? And as far as the website the only reason we started it was to bring Aussie downhillers together and it's working just fine. Keep paying us out it just makes more people come to our site(and the sponsors love that, "Dissapoited"). We never claimed to be the best riders or website builders (sorry Rynox) in the world, but there just wasn't a website that showed the level of riding that new-comers might identify with. Some of our vids are pure crap, but we've been trying our guts out with bad equipment for years and we're trying to raise our standards. Anyway thanks for talking about us, better than talkin about politics or something

No cut against Aussies. Dinks come in all nationalities. In fact I think the U.S. runs second in Dinks per capita. (right behind the Italians. Plenty of Dinks there). Lithuania has plenty of Dinks too but that's another story.

I hate to see Aussies being crapped on and Im sure Americans dont really like to either. But I have to agree that the video's are not that good. And Im an Aussie too. And I wish the OS TEAM would stop acting like arrogant idiots. Thats not what we Aussie skaters are about. I can see that there probly good skaters just get someone else to shoot your video's. Someone who knows how to do it. There's a few guy's down here in Melbourne that might be able to help you. BTW, OS TEAM, I visited your website today and found the same kind of lameness all over your website. Geez, you guy's should pull that website. Bad representation of Aussie downhillers.
Bob from Melbourne.

That Aussie vid is just about the weakest sh*t I've EVER seen. Made me embarassed for the clowns who made it. Dissapointed is entitled to his opinion...especially if he's right. And so am I.

Well Disapointed sorry to let you down like that.If you have ever done any speedbooarding video you will know that the hardest thing is to capture speed.Have a look at the video sounds of speed and you will see that we do go fast.As for that wise crack about not going fast enough to do pendulims.I really need to see you in person to sort that out.So instead of complaining that our vids are not up to your standard.Lets see your video and then you can pick on us.We have done so much for this sport in australia.Just getting longboarding known around your country by organizing events and ride days is what where all about. The way we portae ourselfs is our business because this is us here not a fabrication of how we are meant to look for you the public. Cheers Kanufi

Dear old school team, you guys definately need to spend less time on your web site and videos and more time learning how to skate. I honest to god hope your not actually planning to sell a os team dvd, you guys aren't going fast...you don't even get into a full tuck in any of the first two vids (all i could bear to watch) you might as well carve it will look alot better than pretending to tuck...also where is the full pendulum slide??? oh yea you guys arent going fast enough. no one cares about seeing you guys f around when your not skating either. if your wondering why i took so much time to punk you kooks, i am not a mean person, I just hate arrogance and you guys obviously love seeing yourselves on camera, but no one cares, ball up and get good before you parade your videos around, and break 30mph for christ sake. ps those sponsers on your website must be bulls#@!, and if not, i know a bunch of kids that would love to get a sponser and they done SUCK. peace
