Be sure to keep us updated about the Masters comp and the slalom. I've been waiting for an excuse to visit NZ! and combining a bit of vaca with a bit of racing sounds just about perfect... peace, haggy

Hey Kiwi guys. Check out www.frontsidegrind.co.nz to hook up with some fellow Kiwi Old Schoolers. Plenty of us out here! Also looking at organising a slalom contest at the 2006 South Pacific Masters Games, February 2006. Just waiting on info from the organisers. You Ozzies should come on over for that one if it gets to be a go!

Hi Jestah (& Fitz), So how we gonna get a little slalom sess together? We got to sort it out. I'm not going to be in Wellington for the foreseeable, but I got a few boards, 50 odd cones and a few guys around here who are enjoying what they experiencing for the first time. The snow has just begun to settle so maybe you are going to be down wanaka way during the season. Let me know if you are. 03 443 5403 Deck sounds cool. Send me a pic. I just ordered 2 Roe models from the US.

Hey Jestah i did the same thing once but it was a surfboard and it was the final coat of resin. It was the best gloss job i ever did but it wasnt going to cure so what i did was spray on some hardner and it went off no worries.Yeah if it has a bit in there already a nice warm place for how ever long it takes should be ok,as he goes around the 1st cone and hears that ugly woody noise of delamination.(doh)

Hi
Im welly based and would love to get together for a wiggle.
I pulled my latest deck (1m less than 500g concave, camber, balsa and carbon deck last night only to relise that i didnt get enough harder in the mix.... grrr but give it a week in a warm place and it might work but with my luck it will fall apart after the first cone.....)

It was great skating with you guys in Sydney. Every rainy day in London makes me want to get back out there! Where can I see the race report and photos? And just what did Haggy say in his victory speech?

Paticular Thanks goto Jeremy and Irish "YOU GUYS ROCK!!!" for all their work, Steve for all his effort: Ramps, Course design, admin crap. And Mondo for puttin us up for the night. Congrats 2 Haggy for winning (and doin it with style) and your Victory speech still has the boys cackin.

Hey Peasley, A few of us go cruise the carparks late at night usually just goofing around but occasionally attempting some version of serious slalom. The riders are from beginner to whatever - guys, girls and rollerbladers. You can contact me on 0404472977 or check out www.gravitystunts.com we are keen as to build up the crew in Brisbane
cheers, Arbi
