I'll be out of town this weekend and I don't know if I am coming back Sat night, or Sunday. last Sunday worked out great anyway. Joe and I ran some slalom all afternoon. i got to try out my new Splitfire/modified Tracker combo (by the way, it kicks ass. I totally dig it). It would be nice to get a good crew out there at RB for an afternoon before Christmas. Pretty much any Sunday for me. Also, I think Mark will be back in town this week.

Hey Mark,
I am a noob skater in the bay area and would love to join in. Not very good yet but happy to lend a hand with the clean up. Keep me posted.
Also both the links you posted don't seem to work.
Thanks

Sorry Chris, I flaked out yesterday. Acutally, I had some things come up and spent all day Sunday taking care of them. I would've given you a call, but I just got done moving and my "little black book" was stashed away in a crate. Fortunately, I'm just about done with the moving whirlwind, and now we can focus on racing again.
Is anyone up for next Suday? Is it too close to Turkey day? Should we postpone until December? Will it be too cold to race this winter? Should we brave it and see just how many races we can get out of this ditch before Murphy's Law sets in? Should I spend next Sunday setting the lower half of the course, so that we can run a LONGER race next time? Does it matter?
Enquiring minds want to know.
K-LEE's new digits: 247-2346 Call me out.

Houston Texas will be hosting the E Z 7 Turkey Jam next weekend. Ricky Byrdog and his Road Kill Crew will be attending the event. I have to work that weekend. Life can be so unfair sometimes. As Charlie Brown would say " AAAAUUUUGGGGHHHHHH ". Eddy Texas Outlaws.

Looking at my calendar for the month of November, the most open Sunday is the 21st, two weeks from yesterday. Would that be a good day for the other banked slalom racers in the ABQ area? I don't know if I can fit it in on any other Sunday this month. Who's interested?

Thanks, Duane. I thought JF had skipped the first run to stand in the middle of the ditch and capture some images... must've been the Safety Checks.

Oh, the horror of having to work at a skatepark while your friends have fun in the ditches! I gotta make that slave-driver boss of mine close for Indian School Outlaw this year.
Anyone know if JF Boily ever posted any of his footage of Indian School from the All-Around?

I drove by the duarte V ditch today, it's now a square ditch. They rerouted the road, ripped the V ditch up and replaced it with a regular square drainage channel.

This new DVD also includes some of Indian School, and the Bear in Budros part. Danny Connors part is WAY too short, but the clips from this years Sandia are sweet. I'm suprised they were able to get it in on time to go to print. TimeShip has got plenty of Bear DVDs from last year if anyone wants to get psyched up for the next one!!
Lowrie and the rest of the Abq heads, I'll see you at Sk8 School as soon as the weather turns. The next Transfer station Slalom Race is 11 - 14 at 10am. Come wiggle.

So I go into Wahoo's Fish Tacos last night for dinner and I look up on the TV and what do I see??? None other PALMER9's ugly mug!!!!!! I do a double take and sure enough, there's PALMER9 doing board slides over the stairs in his pool. Turns out the new Sector 9 video has lots of ABQ footage from the weekend of the Indian School race. There's ditchs, Palmers pool and even footage from the ramp jam after the race.
