Yeah...mostly all of them have nose and kicktails i was just looking at some....the older boards like the Hyper carve only have wood sticking out but you can buy a gravity fhard foam kicktail that sticks on really good.

Hey! I just had a chance to check out the NPD landboard. It is pretty cool. The thing weighs a TON, but that is ok. If you don't know about the NPD, it is an off-road skateboard. Anyway, good job to you guys for taking an existing product and improving it! I only road it around the shop, but it seems real cool. The coolist thing about it is that it actually exists in the first place. It is good to see inovation!

Mike,
I've ridden the 42 mid and its a very well made board as well as a great all around board, the 44 is the same shape just slightly bigger. Both are quality boards. The 42 would probally be a better board for pools and skateparks though.

Hey,
Does anyone out there have a TVS 44 Cruiser? I was thinking about getting one. I haven't skated in some years, but I surf. A job keeps me about an hour from the coast and it would be nice to carve the street a little. There are also some skateparks going in around here, and that seems like too much fun to pass up. Anyway, I am 30 and about 190 at 5foot 9inchs. I am a fairly stout guy, who won't be trying to ollie onto tables;-)
Will this board work? They are about 150 (w/tax, and ship). I have also played with the idea of getting some of the extreme wheels.
Thanks,
MO

11 lbs 3.5 inches to the griptape from the ground.Just pushing it around the street is noticably different ,you don't reach down to the ground with your pushing foot, this makes pushing more efficient, and pushing efficiency wins the start given approx. equal leg strength, hmmm.

My lasest ride is the Tahoe "Tallac" 62inch, with Exkates 201s, Exkate "Cherry Bomb" 82mm. This big rig weighs in at 15 pounds! It's harder work to get it moving, (good training), but in motion is sings. The feeling of the momentum is great. And that feeling on a downhill is big fun. Drawing long graceful carves at speed is comfy, and plenty of roon to stretch out into a drop-knee stance for a tighter turn. Go big!

I bought a Tahoe board this past summer. It has good concave along with a big wide tail and a smaller nose. This board has been a lot of fun for a all around board. I ride it in our local park when I get the chance and it performs. i have been getting into riding hills and adding speed as I go. Since my Fusion has treated me so well I am looking into the big Tallac 62 that they offer. It seems as though for the hills the Tallac should handle more speed with more stability. If anyone out there has one or has ridden one please let me know what you think. I am ready to buy one but would like to hear any feedback that may be helpful before I do. Thank you, Matthew Palmer

What a wild board!!!! Herbn has careated a master piece with his stroker board. I wne tout to his shop to chek it out, and it is everything he said and more. The trucks make a TIGHT turn, better than exkates! They are a little quick, but that can be adjusted with siffer springs (like seismics). What is even better is to watch Herbn show you how to slide it. He told me that it took about 100 hours in a machine sho, and for 2 or 3 grand, he would build you your own board. (and throw in wheels for free!) If you are ever in Northen NJ, go check it out! What a fun ride.

Just thought I'd try it for real, instead of hypothesizing, and it will work, you'll have to redrill for the old pattern, line up the inner mounting holes(bolts through and tighten) then use a straight edge to make sure the bases are straight, then drill away. It looks like they'll line up either with or without the wedges,a little better with. I would go with no risers for that magic carpet ride.

exactly right, the geometry needs to match, so does the width, Seismics would work because Trackers also have a 45 degree turning angle and similar ride height and width.

I think the original setup for Envy twintip are Tracker B-2 (149mm?) trucks and Envy Twintip Wheels (around 72mm) so fitting R-II's onto this board might create some problems as it's wheel cutout probably would require an exact fit to make sure no wheel bite, but I ain't sure.

Hey I was just wondering what size trucks come with this board as a complete and also what size wheels because I've got to buy the whole thing individually and I don't wanna goof up and get wheels to big or trucks to wide! Also would it go any good with RII's? Thanks alot and also is Solid-Surf a good store to order from for an international shipping to Australia?

I don't know.. though never tried it but this stuff looks more like a mountain bike than either a mountainboard or a longboard to me..and it doesn't look like it's easy to get into a slide but what do I know? I prefer four wheel designs

Was? still am Skatewerks, my shop's pretty cool, mostly shortboard stuff though but I try to stock as much longboard product as the local market calls for and then some cool stuff just for me to have, and eventually ride if it doesn't sell. I like the New York area and I couldn't tear the roots up.

I was Skatewerks, myself and some skating worker bees made a ton of rails, risers , lapers , Flathead hardware (I was the first with allen bolt flush hardware. I showed them to Rocco and Mullen ,and when they started SMA , I packed and labled their hardware for a couple years ,I kept advancing the bolts, and rail designs, built myself a little machine shop and opened my skateshop ,never had the nerve to jump coasts so I'm here on the east coast in my little skateshop called Skatewerks.

Herbn,
The name skatewerks rang a bell, so now I'm curious. Were you involved with the company with the same name that made risers and other accessories about 10 yrs ago?

I recently came in to contact with a great new downhill board company in Pasadena. This guy has some of the best boards i have ever seen. I immediately bought one of his Powerhouse Giant Slalom boards and used my sector 9 for fire wood. This 60 inch monster has invader trucks and 65mm hawaiin swirl kryptos with the best control under the worst conditions( you know the oil in the road you don't see till yer goin 35mph). This board is a must see and must have. For more info e mail me at Dislexik626@aol.com
