i dunno dude, i feel that everyone that goes on here is in a way advertising for someone. Look at everybody's posts they are all about different company's. I have never heard of that company but im sure they read every other post and dont consider their posts as spam. Its cool though your intitled to your own opinion, im just looking at it as a mediator. Peace

I've got a 57" bankrider, which actually is a bit stiff under my 200#. I think I should have gone 1 model softer.
180 Randals w/ MMW 8mm axles, 73mm Abec 11 Flywheels, PT7s.
It'll run over anything.
BTW, I tried my 92mm Flywheels on my 38" FibreFlex pintail, on cut down 150 Randals. I needed to ride a few miles home from the car dealer, and I only had to push with my feet about a dozen pushes. It pumped great, and I've never ridden anything that carried speed so well. For cruising, big wheels are it.

If your looking for long longboard, the 57", Ed Economy Streetrider is the one to get..(my humble opinion).. it has the perfect flex for my 160lbs. plus it has a totally functional kicktail. The thing cruises like a MoFo. liquor store runner, bankrider, streetrider, bikepath cruiser... I have mine setup with Seismic 180's, Gumball 78A's, & ABEC 7 Biltins..

So my lil bro wants a longboard that is...long...like around that Luke Nosewalker 57" size. In fact...he wants the Luke. He lives in the very flat South Florida and occasionally visits me in the more hilly Gainesville, so this is a cruiser in any sense of the word. So I have 2 questions...
1)What is a sweet setup for the Luke?
2)What other really long boards do you all like?
Thank you...His b-day is coming up and this would be a sweeeeet present.

Hey everyone, I am lookin for a longboard that has a nice smooth ride, unlike a regular skateboard. I have never had a longboard, and I really want a great one for my first one. I dont want to spend a ton either. I wakeboard and surf, so I respect the ride.....Please help me out.....Thanks

I'm rethinking against the purchase of a carveboard stik as a surfy substitute and may want to set up a 45" flexy board to achieve similar results. I have a Landyachtz Chief, but don't like it much (too stiff and camber puts me too high off the pavement) and have a tierny rides, fluid, freeride and few other decks in the quiver. I like to find a deck/truck combo that would give me a good lean angle. I'm thinking about the new Landyachtz wedge-flex with either seismics or originals. As for wheels, I'm undecided. Thanks for the thoughts.

Jeff was super cool and upgraded the trunks to Seismics and the Wheels to some of the hugest things I have ever seen (take a look at the photo). He also threw in some swag and some gloves!
Hopefully everyone else starts recieving orders too. I ordered about 5 months ago and the beginning of the summer.

I used to have a soul board laguna signature edition. The board rocked, it was professionally constructed with the finest fibre glass materials. I DID NOT however deal with the company and order from them . I bought this board from a friend. I can attest that the board ROCKED. SO if your considering buying an actual soul board, as opposed to one of the other fine brand name companies they also distribute, then I can't complain about them!

First off, thanks again to everyone who helped me out on my campus cruiser. I eneded up ordering an Insect Dragonfly. Steve was totally awesome with helping me out and he's a cool guy.
Anywho...
My friends have been bit by the longboarding bug (for which I proudly take full blame) and now they want boards of their own. Some are complete rookies and some have had some experience on a board and their skills are improving a lot.
We found this site, soulboards.com, that has some sweet deals. One of which is on a Nitro GT, 40' with randal 2's, 70/70 kryptonic wheels. It's maple, concave, with a kick for $179 + shipping...oh wait...it's TWO for $179 + shipping. Anyone heard of these boards before? Or dealt with soul boards? You all have been really helpful in the past and I'm sure you'll come through again.

refering to the bozi debacle, I am tom meakin, and my bozi pintail did not come through, so i too went for the insect option i light of eric's successful purchase, as i knew that steve at insect could be trusted.

Definitely check out Insect - the Cutaway, City Bomber or Dragonfly would be fantastic, I'll bet. Tell Steve your weight and flex preference and it will be just right. My Big Bug is a super comfortable, but lively ride. The shorter boards must be that, amplified.

Sal, check out landyachtz' Urban Assault. IT will turn any head you skate by and weave it wasy past the hottie's on your way to class. Its a breeze to push and steller lookin. Get the downhill trucks and loosen those suckers up to the max and you can dodge just about anything in your path.

Does anyone have any siggestions on a good board for getting around a college campus? I'm at the University of Florida where are there some hills and a LOT of people. I'm looking for a board that I can use to get from class to class and nimble enough to weave around the other pedestrians on my comute )I am also partial boards with a lot of flex). As of now I have 2 sector 9's: A 47" concave pintail with some crazy flex that rides very well (even with the stock Pivot trucks) and a stock 28" mini. Heck one of these may be good enough but if there's something better I'd love to know about it...can't have enough boards, right? Thanks a lot.

OK so I talked to my mother today who called the credit card company and....
Capitol One has garunteed a full refund of a Wedgenose Pintail and 76mm krypto's.
Will Jeff @ Bozi reply to me with an email and step up business now, and promise a pintail shipped right away? Don;t know, and it doesn't matter now, I would reply with a "no thanks".
I hope all of those that has dealt directly with Bozi Boards have learned to know the company as reputable or not before buying directly from them! Also, it should teach those who haven't.
BTW, my roomate's curve swerve 46 just came in and its the most soothing longboard cruise I've ever had. You can practically meditate while riding this beast. NIce mellow flex, VERY professionally crafted. The width is enormous, at almost 12 inches and the concave is just perfect for feet around 10-11 inches long.
There's plenty of room for foot movement while cruising. Randal 180's and 75a Flashbacks are equipped with a set of china's. It's nice, very nice. I had looked into a Curve Swift 40 all summer, but unfortunately went with the Bozi wedgenose Pin, what a bust.
After seeing Silversurfer's custom made Swift 40 I am inspired to customize one of my own (grip, color stain, etc.)
