Slalom Practice Jan 8, 9am Bernal San Jose

Weather is perfect as long as it doesn’t rain, nice cool crisp mornings are not that bad at all out there, the sun is sinning and the temp is perfect for practice. You will be wishing for this type of weather when spring and summer comes.

Hopefully we will be setting up an 80 cone + course for the serious riders and a mellow GS for the newbie’s that show up.

There will be all type of Slalom and long board there to try out. Get some good advise on what to buy and what not to buy.

One more note I will bring some butt boards to try out, Afterwards a few of us might go do some butt boarding, down hilling on some local hills and if there is enough interest from downhiller’s we might make a run for Dina sore point.

Please let me know if you plan on showing up thanks

Contact me at 408 287 1843 if I don’t answer leave a message any time and I will call you back soon, this is my business phone #

Or email me at sjsk8@sbcglobal.net

Happy new years and best regards to all from:
Mark Johnson

yo I am new to NCDSA so let me give this a shot. Breif history on me I have been skateboarding for 14yrs and longboarding for 7 months. Trying new things like pumping & finding the sweet spots to skate. Hoever the best I can do is parking lots but I can never get up early enough to skate them. They are always packed. I am looking for other SJ riders I noticed a lot of SJ rides hit up the message boards so maybe I will get somes replies. Again this is all new to me so give me some credit and I hope to hear from U guys.

Stay safe and have a happy holiday season
God Bless.

Wherez the best place to go pumping?
On 11/30/2004 Big AL himself wrote in from United States  (67.125.nnn.nnn)

I live in the Greater Bay area, and I luv to longboard. The trouble is finding the perfect spot to skate without the cops yelling at me for skating in a public place.

I recently got a sector 9 longboard platinum series board and i heard it's perfect for pumping so all I wanna know is where's a great place I can go without getting mud on my board? It seems ever where I go with my longboard i get mud on it. I live in the greater bay area in san jose.

Whats up all -
havent posted here in awhile, looks like some good San Jose longboarders are frequenting the board. Mark Johnson -- I'm wondering if we can trade spots or even meet for some skating sometime -- I would really like to know where some of your spots are, particularly area 51, and those pictures you have, I've never ridden something quite like that before, it looks perfect, like the stuff you dream about. I can say I'm mostly into banks and ditches, I know a ton over in the Dixon Landing area and Bayside, I've been boarding for about 10 years or so, I know a lot of spots. If you want some pics I can send some your way. This one cat, I think his name is Dave, his email is deathditch@yahoo or somethin (If you are reading this dave, give me a hoot) he's a Palo Alto rider from what I remember,he was talking about a killer spillway. I havent heard from him in awhile, but I would love to ride something like that. Dont worry about an entourage of people, I just skate with my brother and thats it. Drop me an email and we can mix it up. Mowiskimma@aol.com

Hey roger "doc" Thompson.

I live in Heber city just outside of Park city. I am new to the freecaving/longboarding scene and I could use a buddy to ride with once in awhile, maybe just to wach and learn. I have to tell ya though....I am a 39 y/o mother of two. If you want to ride sometime email me or post on this forum. I won't be offended if I'm not the buddy your looking for. I hear that Layton has a great skatepark too. maybe I will see ya there next spring. Ride on!
