I am in to do some downhilling at some point. I lost my helmet, and I need to get new knee pads badly before I can really bomb that hard. PLus no leathers.

Are you off Sunday dave? Anyway, the morning bowl session is a go at this point. Maybe a ditch, but I think I am going to skate the bowl til I can't walk. Who else is in??
And yes Chris I am skating again. My arm is 90%, it is actually way better than it was before the surgery. It is strong and I am feeling good. See you on Sunday!

Looks like no Look Out Mtn race again. We need way more help to put this one on. We may try to do a Soul Jam up there with everyone sometime this summer just to get to ride it. Are the cops cool?

We can hang out while the real sk8r's ride the park. If I really got serious and didn't party so much at these events I wouldn't need that expensive lid. Wow you beat me while I was half drunk throwing up after staying up til 4am...Geez do you kick puppies to? Maybe I'll try, and we'll see what gets smoked. Ditch Slap, DB666, Calgary, Montreal, Maryhill, is Colorado hapenning Joe?

Maybe if top speed was 40. My point is, it would seem, 50+ is gnarlier than dropping in. I am just trying to encourage you. To be honest going that fast scares me pretty bad. Good luck, I hope I can race the park race, I have a good chance of beating you, that is, if you can even drop in. hahaha

Thanks Chris, James and DP for coming down and racing with us. DH is totally foreign to me. But DP gave me some great tips. I will work on them next weekend. I dig the eerie calmness when going down a hill. Ricky Byrd said I had a smile from ear to ear every time I went through the speedtrap. Mind you I went from the middle of the hill. Too Cool. On 3/3/2007 PRICE wrote in from United States  (68.35.nnn.nnn)

ey ricker, thanks for driving me and will to the top of wilderness gate last nite.

man we got to the top and it had started snowing pretty good and the full moon we had exspected to skate under was hidden under the clouds. it was well below freezing as me and will skated in the dark in a full-on snow-storm as ryan sat in the warm car, most likely laughing at us as we freeze our nuts off! fun stuff!!

yea steve, all the bickering about the texas GS is amusing. a true skater skates anything and everything.

imagine if downhill racing had as much bickering....can you repave the road, make the corner not so tight, and make the road not so steep, its to hard, please mr. race organizer, please. waa ,waaa!

Yeah Steve, all the bickering is kinda funny. Just give it a rest. Go Skate! So it wasn't a perfect "GS" course. Whatever. Skate it anyway. That's part of being a skater is just skating! Like the Downtown SF park. It's a joke but it's still a SICK park. Just gotta work it a lil. I WANT MY ANKLE TO BE BETTER!

What's up bros? I just wanted to make a couple comments. Man TSR is rad, I love the way the contests are run. I know I am not a big competitor, but I come out and help all I can, have a ball and help make the events happen.

Anyhow, the whole GS debate is making me laugh. One of the things I am realizing is that having some sort of governing body ruling over all races sucks. Seriously, the politics in the whole texas race is out of hand. It is good when people come to a race, race the courses, or not, and have a good time. All the whining seriously makes people look like idiots. I think a more DH oriented GS makes sense. And I think that trying to force everyone to follow strict guidelines is counter productive.

Keep up the good work, I look forward to the Slap, and am hoping I am healthy enough to maybe enter a ditch race, and for sure the park race!
