Additional Info: This is no longer a low key event..it's a RACE.

The hybrid GS course will be set by the master GBJ himself. It will be approx. 55-60 cones with several offsets and a few tight sections. The asphalt is fresh and tight. Serious riders will want to ride hard wheels. The pitch is similar but not quite as fast as the recent DC event. This will be an all out pumping course not a super fast hip wiggler. This will not be a duel...one lane racing against the clock. There will be an approx. 40' unlimited push start. Cone penalty is .2 sec per cone with a max of 5 cone DQ.

The TS race will be a 50 cone (almost straight) duel. There will be a few minor offsets. Cones will be set between 6' and 6.5' centers. Fastest times from the GS race will seed the racers for head to head racing. Cone penalty is .1 sec per cone with a max 5 cone DQ

We will probably hold the TS race at the Scenic Drive location unless we don't have enough room.

Pads and Helmet required.

There will be a cookout immediately following the race at the Tway farm. We can talk slalom all night and watch "Mollica's Home Videos" until dawn.

***I just want to stress that this event is about bringing slalom riders together and having fun. There probably won't be any cone-heads...so we are responsible for counting and picking up our own cones. This is going to be a very laid-back slalom party if you will. All are welcome.

Timing System: Thanks for Dan at Trakmate I have a prototype timing system that works fantastic. We decided to only build hard wire units. (too many variables w/ the wireless) They should be available to the slalom community soon.
