The Independence Day International Slalomboard Cup in Boston, Massachusetts is this year's premier north eastern slalom event presented by Red Bull. Taking place in one of the United States' oldest cities, the International Slalomboard Cup is two days of fast and furious racing, fireworks, food and drink, family fun, and wild nightlife.

A diverse lineup of races will be featured, starting with I.S.S.A. Parallel Straight Slalom, Dual GS, Dual TS, an Ed Economy Longboard Slalom Race, and an unusual event entitled, "Win John Gilmour's Money" on July 4th. July 5th follows up with some single-track racing which will include. I.S.S.A. Special Slalom and I.S.S.A. Giant Slalom. All courses will be very exciting, fast, and technically challenging.

Info for the Racers
The $75.00 USD entry fee allows entry into all races, free barbeque for skaters and their families, and free special events. If it is convenient for you, entry fees can be paid through PayPal with the email, e500mercedes@yahoo.com.
Lodging is available at a hostel located at 575 Commonwealth Ave. The phone number is 617-536-1027. If you did NOT make a reservation through John Gilmour, ten the cost is $33 per night, per person. Not bad since each room has its own shower and A/C.

Getting around Boston is incredibly easy, so there is no reason to rent a car. A taxi from the airport will run about $25, and the subway is only $1. All events for the weekend will be within a 5 minute radius from the July 4th race site.

Schedule of Events (John Gilmour will only participate in the Ed Economy Longboard and Win John Gilmour's Money events.)
