**** The Ncdsa.com Cyber Slalom Cup ****

The Ncdsa.com Cyber Slalom Cup is an annual, scheduled contesting of the Cyber Slalom Challenge racing format, as described on the Ncdsa.com website, with this year's running scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2003; at The 3rd Gathering: Slalom, Slalom and More Slalom in Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA. The current Ncdsa.com Cyber Slalom Cup Champion is Chris Chaput of Huntington Beach, CA with a winning averaged time of 9.195 secs.

According to Andy “GBJ” Bittner, organizer of The 3rd Gathering, the race itself will be run, “very much in the spirit of the Cyber Slalom Challenge on the Ncdsa.com website.” Only the times for clean runs (displacing or upsetting NO cones) will be recorded. The racecourse, like its’ online counterpart, will be run in both directions, with an additional rule specifying that the times averaged MUST have been produced in consecutive sessions. For organization's sake, the course is run in one direction for the first hour, constituting a 'session'. Then, after a brief turnaround period, the course is run in the opposite direction for one hour, which is the second session. This pattern continues until four (4) one-hour sessions have been completed. The rider who produces the best average of best times from two consecutive direction-sessions will be pronounced the Ncdsa.com Cyber Slalom Cup Champion for 2003.

The winner of this competition will have his/her name and winning time engraved on the actual Ncdsa.com Cyber Slalom Cup, a perpetual trophy created specifically for this special event, and will have the same information listed on Ncdsa.com's Cyber Slalom Cup Hall of Fame.

When not “on the road”, The Ncdsa.com Cyber Slalom Cup itself is prominently displayed at SkateLab Skateboard Park and Museum in Simi Valley, California.
