Contest Info:	This is St. Louis's first Grass Roots race and the first slalom race in the area in twenty years. This will be a semi-outlaw race, meaning we have permission from the park rangers, but no actual permit for the event, hence 'semi-outlaw'. The spot that we will be riding is our main riding area for slalom and the park rangers know us well. It looks like a good day for racing and I foresee no problems at all COURSE The race will be held in Tower Grove Park on E. South drive, which is permanently closed to vehicle traffic. We will be running a 100-cone, dual lane, 800 ft course with cone spacing varying between 6-10 ft on a backward S-turn hill with speeds right around 20 m.p.h. The course will be challenging to most, but most of all fun! RACE INFO Practice will begin promptly at 10:00 am. Racers meeting at 11:00 am. Qualifying to follow racers meeting Two thirds of entry fee will go towards cash purse to be rewarded to the top three riders. Starting ramps built by local skatepark builder.
