Added 1/18/06 here is the hill that will be used for Saturdays race.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Looking up the hill

Image hosted by Photobucket.com Surface is a 9 out of 10, only because it has some concrete patches on it, but they will be easy to avoid. This hill is faster than it looks the surface is brand new and will support the harder wheels just fine.

Here are directions to the hill from the hotel. If you are coming from the Airport these should work as well.

Take the 35 south towards San Marcos. Get off on exit #201/ McCarty Lane got to the stop sign and turn right onto McCarty lane. Go to Hunter (this is also Highway 80) turn right. Turn left on Reimer fallow Reimer, it is going to turn into Willow Creek take Willow Creek to Rolling Hills Drive. Turn Right on Mountain Drive Fallow it to the 1000 block. Right around they is where the hill starts.

Added 2/6/2006 There will a DVD for sale of both days of racing and may be purchased at the either race site. You will get a receipt and the DVD will be mailed to you home address. Also the San Marcos Skate park Committee will be at Saturday's race and will be selling hot-dogs and Bottled water. All proceeds from the sales go to the building fund for the San Marcos Skate-park.

Safety gear consisting of elbow pads knee pads and a helmet MUST be worn at all time while riding on the courses. This is an insurance requirement. There will be a 1 10th penalty assessed for cones hit. If you DQ in your run while in the head to head races then a 1.5 second penalty will be added to you opponent’s time and that will be your time. False starts will be calculated by doubling the amount of time that the false start was and adding it to your time.

Please Note; due to time constraints on both days we will be putting a participant cap or 64 racers on this race.
