3RD ANNUAL DOVERCOURT OPEN SLALOM SKATEBOARD CHAMPIONSHIPS CANADIAN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
OTTAWA
LOCATION: JULY 1,’06 – ON ROOSEVELT AVE at DOVERCOURT
LOCATION: JULY 2,’06 – ON BYRON at CHURCHILL.
REGISTRATION – 8:00 AM PRACTICE after you REGISTER 9:00 AM
QUALIFYING - 10:30 – 1 run in each lane – Best run counts .01 cones penalty Racers will be seeded according to qualifying times from their best run. A-B-C-D if necessary) groups will be formed. (time spreads should determine bracketing groups)
LUNCH Break after qualifying Racing begins 12:30 schedule permitting.
12:45 - D-Group final 1:30 - C-Group final 2:30 B-Group elimination to 4 (12 or 16 racer bracket) 3:30 A-Group elimination to 4 A-B Group FINALS
CANADIAN NATIONALS CHAMPIONSHIPS WILL BE CALCULATED USING THE POINTS SYSTEM USED IN OTHER SLALOM CHAMPIONSHIP RACES.
Entry fee's may be sent to cerslalom@msn.com $50.00 for everyone except for those 17 and under the fee is $25.00. Please put Canada Day Race in subject line.

Accomodations- Accommodations; Residence Conference Center – 1-877-225-8664 - Toll Free – (Hopefully it will work in the US as well. You are reserving under the Canadian Skateboard Slalom Association, Canada Day Race. $74.95 per suite (can sleep many; 2 bedrooms, kitchenette w/ fridge & microwave). Includes continental breakfast, internet access and housekeeping. There is a courtyard & barbecue area for our social functions. Go to the website and e-mail us if you are interested and we will give you the reservation code. www.residenceconferencecentre.com and look for the Ottawa West residence. This is right across the road the road from the Big Concrete Outdoor Park some of you rode last year.
It’s about 10 minutes or so from the race venues as well. We have a block of rooms reserved but they would like it all booked by the 23rd of June. We’ll post maps from the accommodations to the races, etc.
Just a note. We are going to try to organise a ParkSlalom at the facility we just finished re-building.
