MAPQUEST MAP AND DIRECTIONS

Grab your nose-riding surf cruiser, drop deck, or pumping machine, and join us Sunday morning, June 18th 2006!

For some the goal may be to get their best marathon (or a half marathon) time, while others may simply want to cruise the trail from Redmond to Seattle.

Estimated ride times:

13-miler, 1 hour fast, 2 hours pumpin, pushin and chillin

26-miler, 2 hours fast, 3 hours just pumpin and bumpin and squeakin and herkin like a gerkin.

This is the 3rd year long distance pumping Seattle's 13/26-mile marathon skate events!

p.s. If you want to check out the raucous Solstice PARADE that's June 17th Saturday...the street fair runs both Sat and Sunday -- http://www.fremontfair.com/

1st Place Finisher: Munson, 13m - N.Westberg, 20m
2nd Place Finisher: Peters, 13m
3rd Place Finisher: E.Westberg, 13m
Overall Results: The Outlaw Solstice turned out even better than the event originally planned. Everyone spent the first half hour pre-race just trying out a ton of boards. A lot of tasty, shiny carbon fiber out on the trail yesterday!

Everyone did the 13-miler, except for superstar Nick Westberg who missed the turnaround, detoured, fixed a truck that fell apart mid-race, clocked a total of almost 20 miles -- and still managed it in 2 hours!!

Derek just ate it up, taking the front runner position after a few miles and holding it to the end.

Results:

1st - Derek Munson: 56:23

2nd - James Peters: 58:00

3rd - Eric Westberg: 1:06:18

The rest of the crew came through strong - pumping MOST of the way!

Nick Westberg: 20 miles, 2:00:08
