The SEISMIC NATIONALS is being held in Longmont, Colorado, just North of Boulder, 30 minutes from Denver. The venues for these races are Park Slalom, Dual Giant Slalom, Dual Hybrid Slalom, and Dual Tight Slalom.

Divisions:
Pro, Open, Women, Junior (13-18), Kids (12 & under). You must choose one and only one division to race in.
Kids races will be early morning races on less difficult courses. No special Kids GS Race.

Equipment: For this event, only lean-to-steer skateboards with 2 trucks and 4 wheels will be allowed in the competition.

Prizes: Pro Prize Purse similar to previous years. Awards for all divisions. Special schwag prizes for Open, Juniors, and Kids.

PARK SLALOM

Thursday Night, August 23, Park Slalom, Sandstone Ranch Skatepark, Longmont (Google Map)

Practice: 7PM, Racing: 8PM-10PM.
Field size will be limited to 30 racers.
Park Slalom has a separate entry fee of $25. Racers must pay the additional $25 to participate in this event.





GIANT SLALOM


Friday, August 24, Dual Giant Slalom, Water Valley, Windsor, CO (Google Map)


Practice starts at 8AM
Do not park at the top of the hill
Directions to reach the parking area at the bottom of the hill:
I-25 North to US-34 East...
Take Highway 257 Windsor Exit
At top of exit, go Left/North
2.7 miles north to Crossroads (Left). (There is a white sign there that says Water Valley South)
Do not pass through the closure.

You will get 2 timed runs to produce the qualifying orders.
Pro (Top 16), Open (Top 32), Women, and Jrs. will advance to the dual, head-to-head eliminations.



HYBRID SLALOM

Saturday, August 25, Hybrid, 3rd & Bross, Longmont (Google Map)

Kids Race: 8AM
Jrs/Women/Open/Pro Practice: 9AM
Qualifying: 10AM

Hybrid slalom on this downtown street. Expect gates ranging from 6' to 12' with offsets, stingers, curves, and everything else that we can fit.

You will get 2 timed runs to produce the qualifying orders.
Pro (Top 16), Open (Top 32), Women, and Jrs. will advance to the dual, head-to-head eliminations.







TIGHT SLALOM

Sunday, August 26, Tight Slalom, 3rd & Coffman St. (Google Map)

Kids Race: 8AM
Jrs/Women/Open/Pro Practice: 9AM
Qualifying: 10AM

COSS style tight slalom, fast and devious on this downtown street.

You will get 2 timed runs to produce the qualifying orders.
Pro (Top 16), Open (Top 32), Women, and Jrs. will advance to the dual, head-to-head eliminations.





Getting Here: Denver Int'l Airport is about 30 minutes from Boulder/Longmont. Public transportation is available between DIA and Boulder/Longmont. Given the number of skaters in COSS, there will be many shuttles from the Airport to pick up skaters, or gang up on a rental car. Please see Map link above for local map. - $23 airport shuttle provided through Shamrock Airport Express
