The Annie Ross open is a charity for homeless women & children. the small entry fee for the race will be donated to this.
We'll be skating -With Helmets- from Mt.Tabor through a S.E. Portland Route to Sellwood Park on the springwater corridor.
We meet Sunday, May 6th @ 10:30am. the race will begin at eleven. please try to be no later than 10:45 for a final headcount & registration.
This race is approximately 8.5 miles long, which translates to roughly 30-50 minutes of strenuous skating. With Helmets.
You think you've got what it takes to take on reigning champion robin mcguirk and his record time of 28minutes, 4 seconds?? show us what you've got!!
I suggest saving the map pictures and highlighting the route and printing it out, but I will also bring some copies to the race.

Local companies including Eastside Longboards Daddies Boardshop Longboard Larry and others soon will be donating prizes including boards and shirts to the race. Anyone who finishes the race is eligible to enter the raffle for prizes!
ATTENTION: this is an OUTLAW race. All racers are completely responsible for their own actions and may NOT sue Wil Best, or any of the race Sponsors. We will also kindly ask that all competitors in the race wear HELMETS. AGAIN. You are responsible for your own actions in this race and no one else is liable for your mistakes.
ONE LAST TIME: PLEASE WEAR HELMETS and, if you'd like, any other protective gear such as knee pads, elbow pads, and sliding gloves for this race.
