Entry Fee: $100
Contest Info: First and foremost, this years Farm is dedicated to the memory of Sean Dawkins. He loved our sport, and gave selflessly to bring others to the same joy he felt getting his swerve on. 100% of net proceeds from this year's race will go to the Sean M. Dawkins Memorial Fund at the Sacred Heart Model School in Louisville, KY.

When - August 10 & 11, with August 12 as a backup date.

Where - We'll see a change in venue this year to Bristol, CT. We have found a suitable challenger for Shady Lane. 1/5 of mile, 20+ MPH with a drop to the left, a straight away, and another drop to the left ending in an uphill run out. Out portion of the road lies solely within a city park under a canopy of tall trees.

Page Park offers a community swimming pool and newly installed children's playground for those traveling with non skaters. Bristol, founded in 1721 is home to ESPN, a Children's Museum, and the United States oldest amusement park. Under 2 hours from NYC and 1.5 to Boston, it's a nice place to start or end a New England vacation.

What -
Friday 8/10 Single lane GS Ramp-start:10AM 1000 feet
Practice? Who needs practice? We'll time every run, fitting in as many as daylight & time allow. Your best two will be combined. In keeping with Farm tradition, DO NOT ASK for your time! Winners are announced at the after party. Asking for your time will result in a DQ of that run. Almost happened to me once.

After we're all burned out on GS, The Farm's Totally Professional Downhill race takes place. One timed run, tape to tape, with classes of under 48" and 48" and over.

Saturday 8/11 Dual TS/Hybrid Ramp-start:10AM 300-400 feet
We'll qualify within the groups of 16 based upon the GS results. A group qualifies last. We'll run all groups down to the final four, running all group's finals together.

After the Finals, we'll hold the Farm's traditional Vintage class race. Deck, trucks, and wheels must be manufactured 1978 or before. We grant a variance to include c-62's, but nothing else. Again, as last year, there will be a Plastic Playboy class where your deck is of the vintage, $9.99 supermarket variety.

How Much? $100 for adult's, $75 under 18.

What do you get for $100?

4 races
Thursday party for early arrivals.
Two dinners, two lunches.
Drinks on the hill.
T shirt
Friday & Saturday after parties
Libations not permitted legally in the US.
Live Bands!
Midget Bartender (He prefers "little person")
Canadians!
Pie!
A chance at winning a coveted crock from the oldest continuous slalom race in the world.

Lodging - Stay tuned, I'm working the full gambit. There is a B&B in a mansion 200 yards from the top of the hill, nice hotels, cheap hotels, hopefully a few campsites for the truly broke.

Directions, sponsors, and cool videos to follow.
