Contest Info: tight and hybrid slalom. helmets are required. this is the third Vancouver outlaw slalom event that we have organized and the first at this spot. its a cool spot with excellent pavement, should be a good time. this time we are doing the race on a Saturday instead of a Sunday to accommodate racers from other cities who are traveling to the event.

hybrid will be first. best of 3 runs. course will be set mellow enough that most beginners will be able to compete. 7 to 10 foot cone spacings.

tight will come second. best of 3 runs. will be set harder for more advanced riders. should be fun to watch if you're not up for racing. 5.5 to 7 foot cone spacings

hybrid racing starts at 11 am. practice beforehand. tight starts after the hybrid is done with a small practice first.

the location is a new bike path behind the Kask Bro's cement plant on Barnet highway, just after the end of hastings street. there is public parking and it is along the bus route #160 Poco stn/Vancouver which you can get downtown or along hastings street. bust factor is low, its not in a high traffic area, but we have a backup location just in case.

a map is posted in the map link above.

Hope to see you all out for a fun day of racing and chilling out.
