Contest Info: This race will be the second in the Huntigton-area Outlaw Slalom Series (HOSS) of races held around the Huntington/Western WV area with points for the series being independently kept throughout the summer and a series winner to be awarded in the Fall.

The HOSS GS race will be at Crooked Creek in Charleston, WV. I've never skated this hilland am relying heavily on scouting reports which tell me it's a FAST, SMOOTH, BIG hill with plenty of run-out. The road is currently blocked which limits traffic and is in the middle of nowhere which limits the bust factor. This will be a single-lane race with winner based on the best of three timed runs.

From the top of the hill looking down:

From the bottom of the hill looking up:

Primarily pride is on the line, but winner will also receive points toward the overall series standings. The break-down of series points will be:

1st- 20 Points
2nd- 15 Points
3rd- 10 Points
4th- 05 Points
5th or above- Heck! It was still better than sitting around all day, wasn't it?

This is an outlaw/grass-roots race! Skate at your own risk and come to have fun!!!

Current Series leaders are (after one race):
1) Lenny Poage (20 Points)
2) Marc Fuentes (15 Points)
3) Ben Barkey (10 Points)
4) David Harris (5 Points)

Be there or be otherwise obligated!
1st Place Finisher: Marc Fuentes
2nd Place Finisher: David Harris
3rd Place Finisher: Dave Tolley
Overall Results: This was a single lane GS race in a jam format. The winners were based on the best times of the day.
