Contest Info:	Well the recession is here. What‘s that you say? Santa didn’t get you that longboard you’ve been dreaming of?Fret no more longboard dreamer. You will have your chance to win that longboard in the Central Park Event Weekend!We are going to have prizes! Boards, trucks and lots and lots of goodies FRIDAY NIGHT RIPS Friday June 5th 8pm Prospect Park Brooklyn Take F train out to 15th St Prospect Park. Skate into park and turn right onto main road and skate until you see the other skaters. This is a casual event. Lots of sliding and wheelies. CENTRAL PARK RACE Saturday June 6th 12 Noon Central Park, Manhattan Main event: meet at Spanish American War Memorial at Columbus Circle, 59th Street and Central Park West. Please try to be quiet as to not attract a lot of attention. Arrive early we will probably start the race around 12:30 Race is once around parks main road. We usually go to the Boat House afterwards for drinks, and I am looking for a place to have a larger party Saturday night. For Questions about the Central Park Race Email Ian at ibunyc@aol.com SLIDEFEST Sunday June 7th 3pm Fort Tyron Park, Manhattan Take A train to 190th Street Skate down to, generally keeping to the right. You should run into the skaters it takes a good min or two to get down to the Slidefest hill. By car just drive uptown to Broadway on 190th street. If you’re coming from NJ then come over the George Washington Bridge and then look for signs for Broadway and then drive up to 190th street.
