Event Date and Time: Monday, May 07, 2012  09:00 Event Duration: 2 Days Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico Entry: Open Helmets: Mandatory Divisions: The Bear Race Bordercross Race Both Races Safe Longboard Awareness Program Organizer: TimeShip Racing Map: Entry Fee: Varies Contest Info: TimeShip welcomes RAYNE LONGBOARDS, VOLANTE WHEELS and GUNMETAL TRUCKS as our Title Sponsors! These Races are Invitationals for good reason as the Gnar factor will be very high and will allow racers the chance to compete against each other for cash prizes. Many riders have expressed that they don't want to do racing because it takes too long and they would rather be riding than waiting for their turn to get a time. We have addressed this by holding these races separately so that those who want to race can and those that don't can just go free riding. The Chinese Ditch Race will be held the following day for bragging rights only. May 7th- The Bear is the world's largest banked slalom with 6 cones placed on 45 foot walls, zero to 30 mph in 2 seconds and a hair raising 18 second run. Racers will get 2 timed runs with the fastest one counting and there is a one cone DQ. A full face helmet is required, no exceptions. Entry fee is $60 in advance and is non-refundable. May 8th- The Banked Bordercross will be conducted with 2 man heats, held in a ditch with 15 to 20 ft. walls and a variety of obstacles to navigate including cones and jumps. There will be unlimited pushing anywhere on the course, helmets are required, half shell helmets will be allowed. Entry fee is $100 in advance and is non-refundable. May 9th-10th- The Safe Longboard Awareness Program. If you are also paying entry fees for racing then you will pay an additional $40. If you are NOT entering the races then you will pay $100. You must e-mail TimeShip Racing with a resume' of races you have done, any finish results or a picture or video of you racing. Your registration will be confirmed once we have received your entry fees and approved your spot on the roster and you will receive additional information regarding lodging, rules and schedules.
