Contest Info: Join us for Michigan's first ISSA sanctioned slalom race. On August 22nd, the city of Middleville, Michigan will opens its doors to slalom skateboarders from around the world for the first annual Great Lakes Cone Crusher!

The event will feature both a Dual Lane Hybrid race, and a Single Lane Tight race. Classes will be self declare, with options of Pro, Amatuer w/ramp, Amatuer w/no ramp. We'll be using 6ft. Roll-in Ramps originally designed by Pierre Gravel, so be ready :) Riders ranked as Pro in the ISSA rankings must ride Pro. If there are more than 16 racers who select Amatuer w/ramp, then the class will be split into two divisions based on qualifying times. If there are 4 or more female racers, we will run a a seperate Women's bracket, and they will still be allowed to compete in the regular brackets as well. Juniors (17 and Under) will run in the regular brackets, but will receive prizes for their finish amongst others in the juniors division based on their overall finish.

Food!? There will be a big juicy pig roasting all day, and after all the racing wraps up we'll be eating it for Dinner. We'll have a lunch for everybody as well in between events.

Cash and Prizes!? Free T's for everybody, and tons of industry swag, with the first pick going to the winner of the Amatuer w/ramp class. We are currently working with local sponsors to develop large cash prizes for the Pro division, and possibly the Amatuer division. There will definitely be $$$, stay tuned!!

Lodging- Currently working on acquiring Group rates in Grand Rapids.

Other Festivities - Middleville will be having it's annual Heritage Days Festival and parade the same day, just a few blocks away! Grand Rapids, one of Michigan's largest and most vibrant cities is also just a few miles down the road and features some great nightlife. And don't forget about the Pig Roast!

The city of Middleville approached us for this race and have gone all out to meet our requests and give us exactly what we want. Let's show them that it was worth their time and effort. With a good turnout, we may be adding a GS and Downhill event in the future. We hope to build this into a staple event on the ISSA tour, but can't do it without your help. Hope to see you here!
