hey to all a few more hours and 2007 is gone. i had good and bad times
especially during the bad times i saw where the true friends are-thanks to those that were there!
ok... good things having such a great bunch of folks being on the team in europe and across the ocean. getting supported by a vast amount of customers who believe in the things we are doing,be it PAVEL or G.O.G.
special thanks to you all, there are too many successes this year to count em all down.we don't need to do that,we know what happened and when it happened. some teamriders and riderettes left to greener venues. good luck to marion karr!!!!!!!!!!! kathrin sehl, hope to see you back on track in a few days, when the next year starts!!!!!!!! frank beste proved to be one of the best buddies i could wish to have.starting from a biz relation to a really good friendship and a superduper big helping hand frank proves again and again how reliable he is making me ultrahappy and confident in what i am doing. when i speak of "we" it's always frank and me of course.
to make sure 2008 doesn't get too boring for all you you, here's a bit of the stuff coming up uppering the ante for all again honoring team efforts and the pride we have in making new stuff: G.O.G. adjustable fronts and ultratight trucks did yomebody say downhill trucks?
PAVEL IRON COSS with progressive spoon concave in nose and tail INTELLIFLEX GS BOARDS that will leave your jaws wide open S-CAMBER tight boards with a totally overhauled and improved version of the original idea, thanks go to david pirnack on input and to frank creating the new mould for the board.wait till you see what's cooking. GOGONAUT wheels(hey greg i couldn't resist-the name's too good, thanks buddy!!!!!!)shape determined by three superkiddos:dom, zak, ramon. the fastest and best working wheel out there when it arrives, wait and see... FIBERLAM wood decks, thinner than the originals from this season and even more sturdy thna their predecessors SPEEDBOAT will hit the market this spring after the very promising test results from this season.
the pool side is also looking very bright with new additions to the team during this season, ages from 11-33 if you ever see a pool contest in germany check those kids we have in our team or visit the new hompage end of january to see what's cooking.
again:thanks to all the support from the team and may you all have a very good 2008

Think that could be a fair assessment, Fred. But wouldn't that put me in line for Madame Guillotine's fond attention, right?
Well damn 'em all. Let them eat Christmas cake!

Don, you are too modest...I see you think the deck has flaws on the UK forum....but we both know there is more to makeing a good slalom baord than building a mould and stamping out decks....
Sams board has that ingredient you can't buy, its an element with no name, drawn from the ether, but found at races and in workshops late at night. Its the element that moves from prototype to prototype, via decks used in developement to the decks that riders purchase for their chosen pleasure.
Turners were never 'perfect'....they had an element of soul. I truly believe the Pavels now have that elusive elemenent as standard. Very few manufacturers achieve that....
Now sit down and pat yourself on your back.

Yes! WE shall meet again at DS 08!
And that walk sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!! My feet were so sore after that pock-marked surface. We rode the ENTIRE ditch, all the way to I-40, all 5 miles of 3 Mile. HA! I'll never do that again. Still glad we did it just to say we did it. I gotta get back to ABQ before then, though. I look forward to riding with ya again soon! And if ever in Texas......LET'S SKATE!
Top of 3 mile Chinese downhill.
