Marcio popped down to one of our Hyde Park evening sessions yesterday having arrived in the UK at 4:00pm, skating hard until the light faded. He's flying back out to Brazil today. Now that's one helluva day trip. What a great skater and top guy!

Thanks for the best wishes, sorry about your lunches. I got an update from the doctor. He was impressed at the amount of mobility i had after only a month. I should be in bed moving very little and resting.

Adam, I am truly bummed for you sorry to say this first. But at least you are a strong skateboarder and you now need to heal correctly to return. I am still out of skating from my bad arm break last year - is one year ago now. The main hope and strenght I can offer to you is that you please stop smoking cigs. The nicotine in cigs can and does shrink the tiny capilliary veins. They are the smallest blood vessels that you need to regrow inside the bone to fuse back together strong - the soft sponge stuff of the bone, so bones can regrow throughly. I'm hoping your Surgen and your Dr. told you serious about the effects of smoking..
I hope and wish for the best of recovery take the help and stay positive! At least you are young and stubborn and great skater!
best regardz -drew

I almost lost my lunch seeing those pictures of Adam ....
Heal up quickly -- and more importantly: Heal completely.
That makes my little hip fracture from skiing into a tree look like a scratch ....
I hope you got the morphine -- I loved mine -- it is truly a wonder drug.

ok Don...i rarely take people on their word, but you were right about these new torsion boards....it's an odd feel..it doesnt really "bounce" when youre not moving...and when you are, and you turn hard, it doesnt feel like it's going to go in the direction you want, but this board turns fast and it springs back to center almost immediately...it's a different feel...and i know people who hear about it wont understand what i mean, but anybody who wants to ride this deck at any race you see me at, just ask.....hands down the best board i've ever ridden...i'm no Mithell or Mollica....or Barker or Pirnack for that matter...but this board will bring me closer to them no doubt....wonder what Fadell will say about it when he gets here...

Missing gear

I think a better way to go about it is to put a shout out to the person or persons responsible for the theft of Zak's stuff.
Return everything, no questions asked, remain anonymous. They may be more likely to respond.
It sounds to me like like someone Zak knows. Anyone who has ever been to Zak's house knows how out of the way & secluded it is. There are only about 4 houses on the whole block AND it's a dead end street. Just seems awfully fishy to me it would be a random thing.
I'll chip in $100.00 for info leading to the safe return of all gear.

Wow. Thank you so much Donald. I really appreciate your generous offer. I'm just bummed I won't be able to get another board like that magic cbark-shaped rocka' thing if mine doesn't show up.
I am at a disadvantage for Hood River, (good thing I wasn't planning on morrow bay) but Dave Pirnack, Martin Reaves, Gary Fluitt, Cbark, and Chris Pappas have all loaned me enough gear to put together 2 boards which I will try to get dialed in the next week. The good news is, I will still be racing on Pavels. The bad news is, I won't be racing on G.O.G.s.
Thanks, ~Zak~

just got word on the maytum incident. maybe these guys read here too...
ok.... listen up:
besides the theft you took away stuff from zak he needs to compete with at the next races. you took more than a monetary value away from him. zak is used to riding just these boards and he has a great disadvantage now when he goes to the next races, skating on stuff he is NOT used to.
know what?
throw it back into his garden at night be cool
no matter where this stuff shows up later.you will be tracked down and then the trouble starts. just imagine having cbark, mitch or dave d or pappas knocking at your front door.
you don't wanna have that for sure.
so AGAIN please be cool about the stuff and give it back to zak
there are ways to do that anonymously
