Race 1 info

Depending where you live take the 5, 15, 805, or 125 = SOUTH to the 94 EAST. Follow Highway until it becomes surface streets. Turn RIGHT at Campo Road to STAY on CA-94. Drive 20 miles, pass the Barret Junction Cafe and turn left at Barret School Rd. If you see signs for Tecate you went too far. Park at bottom of hill where Barret School / Barret Smith meets. Learn to use Google Maps, its quite easy.

Ride Rain or Shine or Snow or Attack of Flying Pigs
You'll likely fall sooner or later in the dry, expect to fall in the wet. Dont worry about going off the cliffs, those corners will pull you to the opposite side into a big rock/mud wall. Enjoy the show and smile!!!

riding in the rain is fun
On 1/24/2008 sparky wrote in from United States  (75.4.nnn.nnn)

you go slower in the rain, and you wont die, just slide in mud! rain riding is fun if treated that way! i won Vernon in the rain foot-braking every heat! just go slow, and survive! come on Rick, please change your mind. i raced in rainy wether a few times in CANADA( TC...i was on the poster in 2004 RAIN RIDING from the 2003 race, DB, VERNONN), it's not that bad in the rain! it's fun!

Rain or Shine
On 1/24/2008 Kludy wrote in from United States  (216.70.nnn.nnn)

It is not because if you slide off the road is some areas you could die.
The race will be cancelled if it is raining on sunday.

Awesome, a whole new thread!

I printed up some of the Barrett Junction fliers and plan to put them up at some local skate shops tomorrow morning. Hopefully it will get someone excited!

I was a bit bummed about the cancellation of the Bonelli series, but seeing all of you have stepped it up to organize so many races is really awesome! Way to keep things moving! Thanks guys!
