Cathlamet 4 man boardercross results
On 8/29/2011 Deano wrote in from (50.54.nnn.nnn)

I know this is not the correct forum for this but I do not think the skateboarding world has a catagory for this yet.

The Maryhill Ratz/Five Mile 4 Man Boardercross at Cathlamet was a sight to behold this past weekend in Cathlamet, Washington, broken boards, heads, legs and, by some divine intervention, no spectators were killed. Here is the video of the final heat, look for a more polished version soon.

http://www.youtube(dot)com/watch?v=hYv8BtQxY9o (replace the dot with a period)

The top seven finishers are…
1st $250 - Patrick Switzer
2nd $125 - Will Royce
3rd $75 - Robin McGurik
4th $50 - James West Jr.
5th - Micah Green
6th - David Rutgers
7th - Eric Albee

Thanks to Judy Edmonson and the town of Cathlamet for putting on such a great weekend.

Speedboard Stand-up Racen !
On 6/22/2011 Kludy wrote in from United States  (68.6.nnn.nnn)

So its funny that as I age my riding hills has stayed the same. Like hills and races that are fast with sweeping turns and large drawn out shucans; STAND-UP !
There are no more races left for me now that I care to go to if any.
The one really fun race that IGSA put on it was just a straight hill now they put a hard right and call it the Cali championship.
For real, times has changed and I get that but WHY THE HILL CAN'T SOMEONE HOLD A STAND-UP DOWNHILL SKATEBOARD RACE FOR 40 YEARS AND ABOVE ON A BIG ASS HILL WHERE SLIDE GLOVES ARE NOT ALOUD TO TOUCH THE GROUND!

And the "ncdsa" on the bottom of his board.

On 6/7/2011 mckendry wrote in from United States  (71.196.nnn.nnn)

I hope this website has dried up because your all out skating this spring? It was really cool to see ncdsa comeback on the air but now I can understand why it shut down for a while. And could see why this would shut down again. I wonder what the numbers for this thing were like in it's hayday? ncdsa got big fast...that's what she said. I remember coming here years ago and getting into stupid arguments with people I had never met. And then skateboarding probably brought us together by a camp fire for a beer. This site was a great tool for getting the word out without much bs. I made a s#@!load of friends on ncdsa, it changed my life.

Speaking of old school days...and I hope Biker is feeling better, Dave Price rides for Dregs! HaHa ! New suit, goin to races and skating back at Timeship! Dave did you call Madrid yet? Remember not to worry nobody reads ncdsa anymore.

Fryer posting up on ncdsa? old school haha! Can't wait to bum a smoke off ya someday.

Hope your all out ring and wearing helmets.

Everyone that knows me knows that I am into going fast on a skateboard. We all have our own way about us and what we like in life. Mine is standing on a skateboard with nothing holding me up but the wind.As I age my soul for that speed in still there, ballace is still there. So a got this power 5th wheel that is independent of the board so its fun. Maybe because I have been traveling at over 60mph for so long on my skater that this thing feel way to slow to ride in a velodrome. I get to ride one tomorrow full bore in full gear for the 1st time; stoked ! I dont think it will do 40mph, need more speed but how ?

Madison County Gravity Fest VIII
Manassas, VA- DrNoRacing is proud to announce the return of the Madison County Gravity Fest to Munnsville, New York. Due to all the speculation we are announcing to the riders prior to the official public announcement though there is still some work to do such as nailing down the date. The date I chose did not work with one of the major supporters of the event. Tentatively we are looking at August 13th & 14th with registration set to open on April 23rd and will remain open until July 22nd and will be located on the DrNoRacing website. As always expect this one to be off the hook, and we should have all information ready to release by the opening of registration.
Any questions or suggestions feel free to contact DrNo at TheDr@DrNoRacing.Com

Atomic Bomb Race Course
On 3/31/2011 TimeShip Headquarters wrote in from United States  (67.0.nnn.nnn)

Here's a teaser from the Atomic Bomb.

The course starts at 9200 ft elevation, the thin air making for fast acceleration and exciting drafting action. Air braking will barely do anything.

The course is 1.5 miles long and drops about 800 ft. from the mixed conifer forest down into a barren burned area. The top 3 turns: A mellow left, followed by a never ending right named the "Nautilus", then a nice straight drop into a technical flat "Dogleg" left. Next is a 1/4 mile fast straight away leading into the bottom 3 right hand turns: The first is a sweeper, the next 2 are slightly blind with good drop ending in finish line speeds near 55 mph.

The surface is smooth with tar patches squiggles that you feel with your hands but not your feet. Top qualifying times are expected to be around 2 minutes 15 seconds.

A big shout out to our sponsors! Predator Helmets, Landyachtz, Dregs, Sector 9, Surf Rodz, Skatera, Gullwing, Pajarito Ski Area and the Atomic City of Los Alamos!
