I actually have some more footage of behind the scenes at the Mandy Moore video that I shot. The the guys skating the pink motel. I also have some footage I shot of a session at Gonzales pool, with Salba, Mountain, AndyMac, and more.
I'm not interested in trading for current copyright protected material though.

It's my video and I don't appriciate someone pirating the thing.
That's what the whole warning thing at the beginning of it says.
I spent time money and effort on the thing and having someone rip me off, doesn't make me too happy.

Plus just got a mint copy from the Master reel to reel of "HARD WAVES / SOFT WHEELS" 1977 it's a MUST for old school skaters!!!!! also just got
"Skateboard Fever" 1978 some rare upland footage! and "GOING FOR IT" (Vintage skate Brad Bowman footage EX from 1978 20mins & "SIZZLIN' SKATEBOARDS" a Pastor offers Advice to young Skaters w/Ellen O'Neal 1977 40mins EX + "THIS IS SKATEBOARDING" (The rebirth of slalom skateboarding) 45mins and "SKATEBOARD KINGS" with out the numbers in the letterbox 1978 & "A DIFFERENT KIND OF WINNING" (rare) 1980 25mins, These's are jest a few New Titles just in. Also looking for a video photographer/producer named Greg Lemons he filmed a full length motion picture in 1979 about Badlands skaters. He died in an auto accident about a month after the picture was complete and I don't know where the film went or where it is today. any help!! SO? If anyone has any idea, or know anyone who does, I'd be gald to make it worth you effort to locate it. It had a lot of extrememly classic old school pool,pipe and vert footage

I'm also trying to find some of the old CBS TV 8 Sports footage from the Califorhia free Former World Skateboard Championships that was on CBS July 2 & 3 1977 Akron, Ohio at the (Derby Downs)
I heard of a veteran video editor, named Tyrrell who faced the task of editing 17 years' worth of "CBS Sports Spectacular" tapes into 13 "Classic Sports Spectacular" shows. The quadruplex 2" tapes had sat on shelves in various warehouses, survived floods and fires, and finally in 1997 were transferred to a digital format. ok the BIG question is? where are they? does any one know?

No way man, no way.
Okay, maybe... but that's not the point. Heh, if knepper did, you can bet I'd be the next guy in line. Too bad you really can't steer a cart. With the swivel wheels it kind of goes where it wants... or that shot might have looked a little more realistic.

Thanks for the tip. I actually bought Northwest and love it, but I didn't see the clip I'm looking for. Maybe I missed it. What I saw on the Net was a documentary-like vid that had interviews with city council people, a woman who worked in the area and supported their efforts and footage of them actually mixing concrete, pouring the transitions etc. We're trying to get a concrete park going here and I want to get people psyched to make it happen.

holy poop! i just picked up "control the airspace" on dvd and it blew me away moreso than any skate video i've picked up in a loooooong time. first of all, it comes with "the monkey" also which is another video that the company produced a few years before control the airspace. The monkey might even be a better video than control the airspace but they are both decently long movies that are all about longboarding with a decent amount of clips of surfing, poolriding, speedboarding, and some shortboard skateboarding. I think the dvd is from 2002, so its not new but i couldn't be more serious when i say PICK THIS ONE UP!

OK, I finally saw the documentary a few weeks ago. I know..."What took you so long?"
Anywho, the point I'm posting about is something I don't remember they touched in the doc. If I remember correctly, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't they the ones to revolutionize skateboard decks by making them wider (ie. "pigs")?
I practically lived in CA vicariously through my old Skateboarder, Skateboard World, Wide Wolrd of Skateboarding Mags and am pretty sure they came up with the wider-board concept. Am I wrong?
