Boring video? I'll have to disagree with that. In regard to your desire for more steady camera shots, keep in mind that this a video consisting of crashes, so the video editor has to pretty much take what he gets. I, for one, am not willing to go back and redo a crash sequence because the camera work was less than perfect. How would you feel if the cameraman were to tell you, "Can you do that again, please?".
What did you think, David, of the other video, Offseason?

Yo dudes, in a break on the weekend we checked your vid, fantastic stacks, makes me feel better about it and cool off the curb action, I've been trying heelside and grabing the rail to avoid stacking, I'll post a vid soon enough. Prob is we mostly session at night and can never get the footage to show. Sodium is a crap studio light.

sorry you guys, but reversing and then using slow-motion many times on ONE clip is boring to watch. work on getting some steady camera shots to, its hard to watch when the camera is shaking all the time.

I admit that over the past several days since my ninja Kai hand delivered my copies of our new videos, Off Season and Nobody Gets Out Alive, I've played them on my computer more times than I can count (more than ten times, I haven't learned to count using my toes yet ... ). Repitition can't account fully (nor brain damage) for the constant throb of music from Asian Dub Foundation that replays itself over and over in my head every time I got on my board this weekend. Kai has set some recent NBS footage to music that matches perfectly the low intensity grace and deep leaning pendulum-like tempo of our NBS downhill longboading style. Off Season demonstrates the sublime nature of the various disciplines that our crew excells at.

AenGhooste, for examples of sliding off ledges, you needn't look further than:
http://satori.cyberdojo.com/ninjabombsquad/Video/NGOA.mpg
My ninja, Icarus, toe slides a couple times off the curb on Del Mar Avenue, but I don't know that you'll want to follow his example quite yet. These early attempts are, to put it mildly, less than perfect, but I'm confident that he's either mastered that stuff by now or soon will.

What is a stalefish backside 180? I am very interested in learning new tricks but i dont know the names. On a diffrent note I am not really very impressed by the recent videos i expect crazy stuff and it is all usually the same. They get me really excited to skate and that is good. But i live in the middle of longboard hell. My friends and i have never meet another person that knows how to slide and that has ever been over 30 mph on a skate board but we can do all of the tricks in these videos easy and some diffrents ones we have made up. I wish i could skate with you all. Also this summer we are going to but some stuff together on video and i hope it will be crazy. If anyone wants to come to longboard hell(va) and skate please do i would love to skate with ya. We may skate in hell but we are coming in secret for the sliding world. BA crew! Keep skating. We are coming!!!

The video looks great Fabrice. Congratulations, its going to be very good. I was stoked yet bummed to see the stalefish backside 180, I started doing that slide about 4 years ago but I've never showed anyone, some private time skateboarding you know. Hahaha; I'm at least glad that it was you who put it out there.
Proud to be a Montrealer!
