Hi Swiss friends,
Good job over there in Paris, especially the ladies! Swiss sweep!
Chris Hart! 6th in Special, not bad!
I have a favor to ask:
My boyfriend Erik and I are coming to Gruningen. We are flying to Zurich on Thursday, 16 June. We are staying in the dorms in Gruningen, but need one night on a good bed in Zurich Thursday night, and one on Sunday, 26 June, one week after the race. If anybody can let us stay at their house, or can reserve a hotel room for cheap (75 sf), we'd appreciate it. We're going to be very far from home, and tired after a long airplane ride.
Thanks, please drop me an email.

I try to explain the Deathrace2000-Thing

The Starter Group will be limited to 70 Starters, becouse they had too many Riders in 2004. On 01.06.2005 @ 20 o clock central european time the sing in will be opened. They dont want the "pro-riders" there, becouse its the oldest race in germany, and its only a funrace. If u want to singn in u have to be fast URL iss www.deathrace2000.de but the wesite is in german sorry

the date iss 6 and 7th of august

Sliding gloves in France
On 4/27/2005 VinZzZ wrote in from France  (82.234.nnn.nnn)

If you live near Paris you should go or call Ridespirit (www.ridespirit.com), just near the Bibliotheque Nationale de France (F.Mitterand)
At least tehey should have Eloura gloves.. but if you'll probably need to customize them, they don't support heavy sliding usage.

Hawaii-Surf 's got perhaps something (Ivry sur Seine, just south of Paris)

Do you know Riderz.net? the french forum
See you ;)

For all the non-germans:

We are going to open the season of 2005 with our rider meeting in Altbüron. Last year's event was fun, a lot of people, a lot of meetings, a lot of trashtalk, a lot of fast skating, a lot of stylisch skating, whatever. It's gonna be cooool. PLEASE join us everyone, even if you never been there; it's a lovely and forgiving course, easy to bomb, slide, cruise, style and carve. We'll all meet on sunday there. Hi to everyone!
Is there someone that can give some info about sk8shop on-line where to buy a new longboard? I'm looking for a pintail, at this moment i'm riding on a S9 Carving series, but I don't feel very well with this board... I prefer a big and flat decks... Any suggestion on shop and on model and brand are wellcome! (I'm 1.82 m. high and 80Kg. weight)Thanks!

sliding gloves
On 4/19/2005 isabelle wrote in from United States  (209.66.nnn.nnn)

Go to www.gravityboard.com and look at their gloves...super inexpensive, especially since the euiro is soooo strong.....shipping/handling should be just pennies and the gloves ROCK and you even have 2 choices (full finger or fingerless)!!!
I use them everytime I downhill or slalom race/play.
good luck.
