News from IZOARD and how to join the french scene...

I'm just back from Izoard race in the french Alps but first know that if you want to join the french scene, it'll be more successfull to post on the forum section of http://www.riderz.net
So about the highlight of those days: we're all just back from the Izoard Legendary Downhill Race ( http://www.izoard.net/ ) It was a blast... rain bothered us only during the first training runs and nothing stopped the really well organized staff crews and we had inbelievable race. This piece or road of Izoard entered in the downhill legend. Despites the really high level of the stand-up line-up, Martin Siegrist seems to be faster than everybody else. Huge Big up to all the people involved, expecially the local crew Traumatix and helpers from Briançon, William "Winatchou" and of course to my fellows from CND and Riderz: Alain Esnault and Jean-Séb Dennebouy for their incredible work before and during this event.
I suppose results and pictures will be posted soon after they came back from the Alps on the official website and http://www.descente.fr .

One of the favorite training and freeride spot of the best french riders will be closed for a race counting for the french championship, but also as a regional IGSA event, and for the IIDA rollerskating world cup.
We want the best european riders on this event, so the maximum number of competitors is 135.
The start is at an altitude of 2360 metres, the racetrack is two kilometer's long, and in outline, the best of all the french spots are concentrated there...

Hi,
The next Downhill Jamboree will take place from July 28th - 30th at the same place. The pre-registrations will open on Friday, July 7th at 11:30 am (GMT + 1) at http://downhilljamboree.dde.asso.fr.
The asphalt is in poor condition, and some restoration will be done; however, we insist that those who register are at a strong enough level to handle the difficult terrain. We would like to avoid the accidents that we had last year, especially in Longskate and In-Line.
Chamrousse is not a very hard road, but you must be able to deal with all the riders next to you. You are expected to understand that it is much harder to navigate a crowded road than an empty one...
Enjoy, and good luck registering.
STF
PS: Fees : 40 € for 3 days, 30 € for 2 days and 20 for 1 day It's a bit higher than last year but it's more expensive to held it this year, plus a few more thing wich need more money.

They had to take one of his legs and all the bones in his face was broken and many other things. His friends and family need to know that Joeys family is around the world and care.
