Cliff is coming in Sat evening. He's staying at my place till he leaves tues morning. We might go skating sat night, depends on what he feels like doing. But I was thinking sunday we could try to do some slalom at the olympic stadium. Then maybe all you hill bombers wanna show him around, could wrap up the day/evening with a BBQ at my house.
let me know what you all think.

Well it’s me and a local and another Swede living in K.L. Our plans are to promote the sport in Asia but also to host a main/major event outside USA and Europe that would be something not ever seen. There are no comps Jan-mar and what better place then Asia. I live in Stockholm Sweden, but I have locals helping me. We really want this to happen, but we also recognize all the difficulties pulling this one off the ground.
If there is no intrest well....

I will fly into the Sunhine Coast on September 7th in the morning. I'll be there untill the 11th when I fly back to Sydney so I can catch my flight back to the States. I will be hanging out with any of you who can meet me. I'll get back on the net to give contact phone numbers in a few days.
For those of you who live in the Sydney area, I'll be there only for two days to skate. The dates are September 5th and 6th. Where are you Joseph Eagle? If any of you Sydney skaters read this, post your contact phone numbers. I can't get to a computer on a regular basis. The phone is the best way for me to contact you!
Hope to see all of you soon!

I wish I could be there with you and skate a few hills, but I am over here skating big mountains... But my the Early boys will löök after you and I know what you like and they will be able to help you... I hope you enjoy your stay there and catch up with Josh, and say hi to him. Hey guys,
I'm in Tasmania at the moment. I will be here until August 29th. Then I travel to Darwin for another week. Then I will fly to Sydney for about 3 days. I will then fly to Queensland for another 3 or 4 days. I have Jeremy Rodgers number and am going to give him a call to help me schedule my time in Queensland. Looking forward to hanging with Steve Daddow and the gang!
See you soon,

Read your post dated back in June 2004 about world cup races in Asia. I'm from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, but currently in the US for college. I'm a street luge rider, and as far as I can tell there is NO downhill scene whatsoever, except for downhill mountain biking. There's no slalom nor downhill skateboarding to be found. I myself am trying to get Malaysians to pick up street luge so we could hold a small scale competition by having freeride sessions first. I did manage to get a friend of mine to pick up the sport and he's planning to purchase a street luge that I built.
You said there are plans to hold world cup races in the Asian cities you mentioned. Whose plans are those? By the way, where are you currently living?

Cliff, You can definitely crash at my house as well or we can split it up with Kanufi or whatever works. There are some good hills right around the corner. But I just moved away from the beach so that's a bummer... Have fun on your travels, we'll see you down here soon!

Kanufi,
I will stay in touch via "NCDSA", regarding my arrival and where I end up staying. Your offer is so nice and I appreciate it! If things work out great. If not, no worries. I leave SF, California day after tomorrow. I'll be traveling and working until I arrive in Sydney September 4th.
Stay tuned for details,

Jeremy,
I'll be in Sydney Sept. 4th through the 6th or 7th. Then I will buy a ticket and fly to Queensland. Probably get a connection to Maloolaba from Brisbane? I still need someone to pick me up at the airport when I arrive. I haven't figured where I'll be staying yet either. It will all work out.
See you guys soon,

Alright folks, it's time to start lining up the skating. let's make this a jam-packed summer with heaps of gatherings. Downhill, slalom, cruing, bowl-riding, whatever, bring it on.
I'm looking forward to trying the Force slalom boards, awesome stuff that they are being produced!
The first Sydney Outlaw Slalom Race tentatively scheduled for Friday August 27 at the Olympic park. It will be an evening race, dual lane head-to-head racing, hybrid course, so start practicing!! I'll give everyone more details soon...
Skate fast!
