The speed is expected to reach 95km/h (almost 60mph) on the event hill. Come and race!!!!!! The Entry Fee will U$33.00 including accomodation for the weekend of the event. The weather here in Brazil is great! You can come wathever month do you like. The great concentration of longboards are in the south-west (Rio, São Paulo and Minas Gerais) and in the South (Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul states). The flights usually arrives in São Paulo and you are 40 minutes flight from Rio or Curitiba (where I live). From Curitiba you can go by car to Santa Catarina and take a flight from there to Rio Grande do Sul (probably 1 hour flight). The speedboarding is growing rapidly here in Brazil with major contests poping around (Champ do Funil, Teutônia, Osasco, Bananal, etc)...     Rate post 182858 ! What I have been doing is running clinics and freeriding with skaters around the world. When I schedule a clinic, the entry fees pay for the travel. I am also saving frequent flyer miles for other trips. I would like to come to Brazil and possibly other places in South America next year. When is the weather best? To skate with all of you would be a dream come true! I will figure a way to get there, but I don't have a plan for when at this moment. This year I have been to Australia once and the UK twice.
