Luge crashes with car (video)

At an event in Durban, South Africa, a luge hit a car on a road that was supposed to be closed off by race organizers (Zoo York) after being let through by a Zoo York marshal and the South African Police Force. This incompetence endangered the life of the rider and just proves how important it is that we compete under the right associations in controlled environments. www.GreenSkate.org 2008 has been launched . It is my job get the word out their about the international community cruise on april 22 (earth day
are you interested) this will be the worlds largest single
day longboard cruise(i hope) to promote longboardings as renewable form of
transportation. All that is required from you is the promotion of this
event locally( forum posts) and sending us the location(google map)
and time where riders from the area can meet on april 22nd
(earth day) and go for a ride. Greenskate would like some feed back
like pictures and or the number of riders attending so we can publish
how many riders participated in Greenskate.

Nice to see the footage up here Justin!! It was awesome to see y'all again and to race back home with my brother again too!! Thats him with the blue Icaro and blue leathers!! he just whipped my ass at a training session in the U.K!! I crashed both my timed runs and he got the second best time after the course record holder Pete Conolly (best guy)!! I think Pete will probably be down to race in S.A this year as he was bummed he could not get down this year! We are having practice sessions on a farm in the U.K called Gurston and it happens fortnightly to monthly on this rad uphill car racing track! So at least we are gettoing some training in for Euro '08 season!! Hope to see some of the S.A boys up here for it!!
