First board for 9 yr old
On 6/11/2007 Jess wrote in from United States  (68.3.nnn.nnn)

My nephew really wants a Mountain Board. I cannot afford those nice snazy ones. At most I have in my pocket once in a while is like 50 dollars.

I am looking for anyoen that is selling a old used mountain board with straps and a brake system. He is 8 and turns 9 at the end of this month.

If anyone is willing to work out a payment plan thing, or something. Also, I live in Phx, not Cali. So it have to be shipped.

If anyone can help, or maybe help me with parts to make him one myself somehow you'd be awesome and make a kids bday, even if it takes longer and past his bday which at the rate and luck I am going, might not be ready til Christmas is any lol.

Well thanks for reading.

Fused0neTAKETHISOUT@gmail.com and thats a zero in the Fused0ne.

THank you.
Jess

FS: $60 Comet Complete
On 6/8/2007 k-lee wrote in from United States  (71.222.nnn.nnn)

Alright, so I've been playing the "How Low Can You Go?" game with this one for quite some time now. I think I've hit an all-time low. $60 shipped for the whole complete. How good of a deal is that!?!? Anyway...

The deck is a modified 36” Comet Proflex. 9.25” wide, 21.25” wb, 7.375” tail. Nose Lip glued n’ screwed (shoe goo and t-nuts), Rib Bones plus Black Label half-rails, Tail Bone, Z-skin on the tail, extra Z-rail on the underbelly. The deck has funky asymmetrical cutouts in the front, but that’s because the Indy actually leans farther to one side than the other with any bushing. It steers straight, it just leans farther on one side, that’s all. So one well had to be deeper than the other. It was experimental, what can I say? The trucks are an Indy stage 9 169 up front with a grade 8 kingpin JB welded into place, black Randal DH barrel bushing/orange Khiro top, faced hanger; in the rear is a Tracker Dart 161mm with a grade 8 kingpin epoxied into place, with a black Randal DH barrel bottom and a black Tracker (hourglass) top, hanger faced. Mounted to the deck on soft blue mellow wedge pads with U-Bolt mounting hardware, with strips of griptape glued to the top of the front inner U-Bolt. The wheels are Comet Grey wheels, 68mm 78a, no cuts or coning just broken in and dirty, with Pleasure Tool Abec 3 sealed bearings and 10mm spacers.

I would be willing to part it out, $20 for the deck, $20 for the trucks, $20 for the wheels, hence $60 for the complete. If you want up close and personal photos of any of the individual components, let me know. I'd be happy to post those up for ya. Trades for items I can easily resell might be considered.

p.s. The slalom complete I had for sale below is all gone.

Chicken Dagger & Bozi Wedgenose Pintail
On 6/6/2007 Mark wrote in from United States  (69.230.nnn.nnn)

Still selling my almost new Pocket Pistol Chicken Dagger E-Series (med. flex) slalom deck. $50/obo plus shipping (around $10 I believe).

Also selling my Bozi Mad Bomber II, $65/obo plus shipping. Hardly used, though it looks as if it had been used a lot, due to the fact that I never liked the design. So, I tried to paint it, did a lousy job doing so, and did a lousy job taking the paint off. In the process, my paint and the original 'badboyzinc.' paint came partially off as well... Other than that, the deck is like new.

Please e.mail for pics. Thanks.

Comet deck & Manx wheels for sale
On 6/5/2007 k-lee wrote in from United States  (71.222.nnn.nnn)

The slalom complete I posted for sale below got parted out for the trucks, so I still have the deck and wheels for sale.

The deck is a cut down 44” Comet Proflex. 32.5” x 7.875”, 17.75-18.5” wb, 6.5-6.75” tail. Generic nose guard glued n’ screwed on, (black shoe goo & t-nuts), Rib Bones, Z-rail pieces glued to the tail, wheelwells, super gritty griptape. There is very little wear on this board, it has tons of life left in it. I would like to ship this one out for $35.

The wheels are 69mm Manx 80a/84a split combo, with VXB abec 7 bearings and .400" spacers installed. The wheels are more dirty than anything, with almost no wear at all, just broken in really. No cuts, no coning, no major damage whatsoever. I'd like to ship these out for $30 with the bearings and spacers, or $25 without.

The prices are not final, so feel free to haggle. I might be interested in trades, but only for stuff that I would be able to turn around and resell for the above prices. So, make me an offer.

selling two completes
On 6/4/2007 k-lee wrote in from United States  (71.222.nnn.nnn)

The cash is low, so some things have gotta go...

First up, a decent slalom complete. The deck is a cut down 44” Comet Proflex. 32.5” x 7.875”, 17.75-18.5” wb, 6.5-6.75” tail. Generic nose guard glued n’ screwed (t-nut) on, Rib Bones, Z-rail pieces glued to the tail, wheelwells. Tracker 106mm RTX/S combo, white/orange Bitch bottoms up front w/ cup washers, white Bitch bottom/red Khiro barrel in the rear w/ a flat washer, faced hangers. Sitting on a hard 5*ish “mellow” wedge plus hard 1/8” riser up front, and a soft 9*ish “steep” wedge plus 1/8” hard riser in the rear. Mounted with Deadbolt Traction Bolts (acts kinda like a toeblock/traction pad). The wheels are 69mm Manx 80a/84a split combo, with VXB abec 7 bearings and 10mm spacers installed. There is very little wear on this board, it has tons of life left in it. I would like to ship it for, say, $110. I might be interested in parting it out, if there is no interest in it as a complete, but am not interested in any trades.

Next up, a funky yet functional ditch board. The deck is a modified 36” Comet Proflex. 9.25” wide, 21.25” wb, 7.375” tail. Nose Lip glued n’ screwed, Rib Bones plus Black Label half-rails, Tail Bone, Z-skin on the tail, extra Z-rail on the underbelly. The deck has funky asymmetrical cutouts in the front, but that’s because the Indy actually leans farther to one side than the other with any bushing. It steers straight, it just leans farther on one side, that’s all. So one well had to be deeper than the other. It was experimental, what can I say? The trucks are an Indy stage 9 169 up front with a grade 8 kingpin JB welded into place, black Randal barrel bushing/orange Khiro top, faced hanger; in the rear is a Tracker Dart 161mm with a grade 8 kingpin epoxied into place, with a black Randal barrel bottom and a black Tracker top, hanger faced. Mounted to the deck on soft blue mellow wedge pads with U-Bolt mounting hardware, with strips of griptape glued to each U-Bolt on the top. The wheels are Comet Grey wheels, 68mm 78a, no cuts or coning just broken in and dirty, with Pleasure Tool bearings and 10mm spacers. Also shipped for $110, no trades. May part out.

FS/FT FIBREFLEX SLALOM CUSTOM DECK
On 6/3/2007 Phil wrote in from United States  (68.211.nnn.nnn)

I have for sale/trade a very limited edition Fibreflex slalom deck, as far as I know it's the only one of its kind. I am the original owner after obtaining it through Attila Aszodi (pro slalom racer for Fibreflex). It's flexy for my 160lbs, but very light. Construction is layers of birch, carbon fiber, and fiberflex signiture bowtuff. It measures 27.75" long, 8.5" at its widest. It was signed by Attila Aszodi, but the signiture has long worn off. The only difference between its current condition and the condition in the pictures is that its grip is slightly dirtier and the nose is not as sharp. Structurally it is as sound as when I first got it. I want to sell this deck for $70.00 + shipping. For trades I'm looking for offset rear slalom truck (split, chacker, chindys), 70mm zigzags, bear trucks.
