Here's what I've got up for sale this time around:
Comet Proflex 39" Custom: This was an old 44" Proflex that I modified into a 39"x8.25" shape with a 3.5" nose and a 7.25" tail, 22.5" wheelbase. Custom wheelwells, killer Proflex construction. Shipped for $35 obo.
Tracker 129mm RTX/S, faced hangers, Venom half-step bushings and Khiro orange barrels, great condition. Shipped for $30 obo.
Gravity High Grade 76mm 80a wheels, excellent condition, still has shine on the riding surface and only one tiny cut from running over glass that is visible in the photo. Fast, smooth, barely broken in. Shipped for $35 obo.
And, whoever is interested, will get a grab bag free with any of the above items with the following goodies included: Santa Cruz Control Wedges, 1/2" multi-hole old school risers, Deadbolt Traction Bolts, 1.25" stainless steel button head mounting hardware, 2 fat precision speed rings that originally came on some German Seismics.
No trades please.

Bennett Pro Trucks ACS base plates + Risers

Trades:
*Tracker Mid Tracks, grinding is fine as long as they are in decent condition I can restore them. Preferably black stock bushings.
*Tracker 5/16 Gray Risers
*2nd Generation Sims Juice wheels in any condition except heavily coned.
* DT Shape blank board, used and abused is fine 8x30" ish is prefered.
* Z-Flex black decal but it has to be 7 - 7.5" and Z-Flex Z-Products square decals
* OG Town & Country black/white pearl city decal
* OG Lightning Bolt (written out) decal in chrome or white.
Bennett Pro Trucks The hangers were purchased NOS from eBay a few months back from the guy who sold a bunch of them he found at a bike store in shoe boxes. The axle nuts and spacers are exact replacement from ebay member gord. The washers/kingpin/bushings are original. I used a black spacer when I mounted them on a Fibreflex with Road Rider 4's. As a result, you can see the black ring residue on the inside axle. The axles are still bright shiny brass color and this flaw is so minor it's hardly important enough to even mention.
The baseplates were difficult to come by and I spent two years tracking them down. Both are uncracked and show signs of being mounted and ridden. A few nicks and scratches and what looks to be some paint overspray. I will include the plates mate (broken) which also has some overspray so that you can use it as a test peice to try different cleaning methods.
Overall, the baseplates are in great condition and the minor flaws are barely noticable.
NOS ACS Baseplates with risers and extra pivot cups
These are what the NOS Bennett Hangers were oginally going to be used for. They are beautiful but have been mounted. I have little hesitation saying they are NOS because they were used on a display board and never ridden (unless you count my neice riding it on hard wood floor for a few minutes). However, you can see the smallest sign of them being mounted on the plate holes and a small nick in the pivot cup hole itself which is hidden completley by the NOS Pivot cups. Used but good condition yellow pivot cups are included in case you wanted the Bennett baseplate look.
Road Rider red risers with "MADE IN USA" stamped on each are included. They are medium hard and were cleaned up nicely but have been used. The sides of them are beautiful and that's what is important.

The Paris 180 trucks are black hangers/silver baseplates and have black/blue Khiro bushings. The Bennett Alligator wheels are bottle green 78a, absolutely no cuts, no coning, no bubbles, and have 95% of the graphics intact. Hehe....
here's good one, my 1st win...
i sold a bike, zero feedback people kept bidding last min and winning, i always ask people to contact if less than 10 before bidding!
Winner #1 The guy blamed his Mum for bidding on the wrong bike, 2nd chance offer told me to stick it "how do i know it wasn't your mate who outbid me?" fare enough.
Winner #2 Guy did not make contact even after 6 mails, so 2nd chance offer, but he had bought another, winner then tried to report me saying, 'my dog died'! yet he won in the last 30 seconds?
Winner #3 guy bid last 10 seconds, then went on holiday! Winner #4 just paid and come and got it.
So 3 lots of relist fees (about £15), phoned e-bay, they said they do not refund relist fees but put 'non payment strikes' on all 3 although they are not seen by other sellers?
As a good will gesture they would give me £20 pay-pal voucher, ok thanks.
Had to ring 3 more times (in 3 months), all were escalated to managers.
Finaly got '3' £20 vouchers, that i spent within 3 hours of receiving, silly buggers, they are rubbish.
Use the phone number in the top right corner, if its not there ask a regular user, they are not given to everyone but at least you get to actually speak to someone.

That's a very good point....and heres a common scam that i've come across.. You sell an item on Ebay. The buyer pays you paypal. You take their payment and ship it into your checking account. You'll see that message that it takes 2 or 3 days for the transaction to be completed. In the meantime, you figure you have the money, it's being transferred, so you ship the item. HUGE mistake. If for any reason it's paid with NSF, or the paypal account is bogus or closed, or the seller just stops it....it's a done deal...Paypal stops the transfer and they delete the cash from YOUR account...no money, and the box is already in the mail. So if you have this deal, ALWAYS make sure the funds are transferred BEFORE you ship anything....
Interestingly, this procedure is in Paypals policies, buried knee deep in other stuff....it's there though
I should add...after my problem, i appealed their decision and wrote them a letter...letting them know how much business i do with Paypal thru GOG and how much they've collected in fees from me....and a manager from paypal actually CALLED me up....and said she was going to credit my account the amount i got duped....saying i was good business and they didnt want to lose my account. I have to give her credit on that one....but that's an employee that did the right thing....i cant say that would happen to everybody that had my same experience.
It kind of all goes without saying though....especially when it comes to skate stuff....sell it here first, or skull and bones, or whatever...even if you have to ask less, since there's no fees, it's a break even...and youre dealing with people in your own community...dont go to Ebay unless you want hope to get somebody willing to pay more than it's worth...or if you cant move it here.

Perils of Ebay and Paypal

Adam

Both Ebay and Paypal's policies grossly favor the buyer and have generated mountains of complaints over the years. Just Google 'Ebay sucks' or 'Paypal sucks' and you'll have more reading material then you could ever want. Neither company's practices are regulated so they can pretty much do as they please, which can be infuriating if your account has been frozen, for instance, or if you are being taken advantage of by a bad-faith buyer.
One tip I'll pass along to Paypal account holders: Keep as little money in your Paypal account as possible, preferably zero! I've read horror stories of people's Paypal accounts being frozen or debited as part of a bad faith dispute. Paypal is not a bank, pays you no interest, is not FDIC insured, so why risk it or give them free use of your cash???
