Powell Rat Bones

I am looking for some original Powell Rat Bones. I seem to recall, memory fades with age and abuse, that they were 60mm/95a, I may be wrong. Anyway if anyone has a set of 4, color unimportant, in NEW condition, I will buy or trade for them. Email me. Thanks.

Cambered longboard
On 9/24/2001 todd brown wrote in from (207.172.nnn.nnn)

I was riding my favorite longboard (not so long, 36"). It was a board made ina shop in Switzerland. It was 36" in cambreed just over 1.25" in the middle. anyway, riding in NYC this past weekend I got hit by a car. I went over the hood, and the board went under the wheels. Im ok, but the board snapped right behind the trucks. I would like to replace it with another medium flex, prefferably cambered long board or anything with a similar feeling. Please drop me a line if you have anything (not too expensive).
thanks
~tb

Guys, I hate to spoil your fun, but these spam posters' crap will be removed shortly along with all follow-ups.

If you want them to know what shits they are for spamming up a skateboarding site with their granite ads, please email them directly and tell them. But be sure that no *nasty* viruses are attached to your email or else they might catch it. ;) ;)

Skitch Hitchcock customs
On 9/21/2001 psYch0Lloyd wrote in from (24.148.nnn.nnn)

I've ridden some of the decks that Skitch used to make and ride. My first one was a 30' glass/foam construction (and wood under the glass at trucks) and it had some flex. Turned down rails (great bare-footer) red/yellow gell coat. Cost $90 in '75. I recently saw one of these puppies in the care of RichyC at Morrow. They had less rocker and rode quite different from the Hobie Park Rider.
Sad to hear of his passing. I hold his work in the highest regard.
I've heard a rumor that some time ago someone was supposed to have disposed of a bunch of old stock that he had laying around only to find out the boards' worth after the fact. What a waste or they may just be waiting in some trash heap for that lucky future landfill archeologyst to dig them up...
...where's my backhoe

Decks, trucks and wheels!
On 9/20/2001 Eric wrote in from (134.10.nnn.nnn)

A need for new bike wheels and ever increasing class expenses forces me to sell some stuff:

Sector 9 Cloud Nine deck, used, but in good shape
Flexdex Kelly Slater 29"-drilled two mounting holes to widen the wheelbase, less then a week on it.
Venture Trucks, very slight grindage, but in good shape
Indy 169 trucks-no grinds, grat condition
XTreme dirt wheelz (with risers, no hardwear)-less then a week on on pavement riding w/ no slides, just campus cruising

Accepting offers on any or all. Feel free to make completes if you'd like.
