Anybody have any problems in their dealings with Matt Chubb? Nobody seems to be able to get a response from him after he had promissed to deliver some equipment. He claimes to have been on the injured list. If anybody is around Lykens, PA please let me know if he isn't in traction (...yet). ;)

Hang in there partner and take it easy- I was out for 3 months last year due to injury and that after having only skated for a month after 20 years. I sustained my most serious injuries to date but after extensive physical therapy and fully protected regular practice I'm finally comfortable with it again and in better skating shape than before. Get your body up to par and strong- it'll be more forgiving if you fall again- your reflexes will get better in time- don't alwyas use cones- go on long uninterrupted stretches of flat skating and pumping... once you get your confidence up again you'll be ok ( and glad that you're back) and hopefully your finance as well. Get the biggest pads you can buy!!!

Geez! You think I was emasculated or somthing. If I pay attention to my womans feelings I beg your pardons. I need to make sure she is happy if I am to be. Skating was gone from my life for 17 years. It can hold on for a while I wager.

OK, OK, so it's not ALL gone. I have decided to keep one board till spring. At which time I will re-evaluate my skating with my fiancee. We will determine what is important to us and what is not. At this point I am in pain so that makes decisions easy to make. But as I heal it will come rushing back, and I do have all winter to heal. The spring will see a different man emerge I wager. My fiancee will be living here [finally!] and I will not be in pain.I have kept a G&S Response mounted with vintages Tracker fulls and OJ's. I also kept the Stradas I was selling so I have good stuff to skate with. The rest is all gone [Gullwings are on the way Hugh] and I thank all those who bought what they did.
So for now it's no racing till I heal, then it's winter. After that who knows?
Thanks for all the good words fellas. They are very inspiring.

OK BoBo, Spill it. Which deck did you keep? If any one of us had to get rid of all of our equipment except 1 deck, some tough choices would have to be made. Which deck was too good to sell? Right now I think I would keep my Comet. And a set of Seismics. And some Stradas. And..........

Hey Dave I'm keeping one board. I have to go with the little lady on this one. She wants me around for years to come. I can't argue. I'll be there in G'Burg once in a while to spur you guys on a bit. Maybe race one or two.
Gotta look to the future I guess. Lame as it sounds.
