old school wheels needed now
On 4/1/2000 hugh r wrote in from (205.216.nnn.nnn)

Hey pre-school... I hope to take some pix on monday and then post them on my site... I will let you guys know. A million years ago I worked at the Reseda Skatercross... Lonnie was on a pro-circut tour and would occasionally come to our park. He was nice enough to sign the board. It's getting quite faded, but can still be seen.

Now we are looking for 8, late 70's wheels. Maybe OJ's, or snakes, or something else from that time frame... So if anyone has something to sell or trade, please let me know! Have fun, skate safe... HR

H.R.,That's GREAT News!POST UP some Photos of that Toft 8 Wheeler once it's rolling. That's a true Benchmark in the sport, and it deserves to be brought back into use.I wish the current bunch of board companies had that much vision and innovation within their corporate structures.Ride that Board with pride.

Alva skateboards, wheels, etc. continued
On 3/29/2000 James Allen Davis (MC Equalibrium) wrote in from (152.163.nnn.nnn)

Hey, how's it going everybody? This is James Allen Davis again and I kind of realized something today. I know it's not absolutely necessary but it might help some people, especially those that don't necessarily have access to the 'net as often as they'd like to. As you can see, I posted a message here 3 days ago about where to get Alva skateboards, wheels, etc. Well, if somebody doesn't have access to the 'net, they're gonna' have a hard time getting ahold of the distribution company that sells Tony's stuff for him. The name of the company is Bokasma (pronounced boke-uh-smo which means to open doors) and if you want to, you can get to them through the 'net also at either www.tonyalva.com, or their own 'site which is www.bokasmo.com. But, for those who don't have the luxury of access to the 'net, I figured I better give their mailing address, phone and fax. #s, etc. Their mailing address is Bokasmo & Co., 5671-K Palmer Way, Carlsbad, CA, 92008, their toll-free order line is (888)BOKASMO (265-2766), their vendor information and corporate offices # is (760)431-2653, their customer service # is (760)918-9805, and if you have access to a fax. machine, then you can get ahold of them at (760)918-9805. Allright, well, that's about all that I've gotta' say for now so with that, later sk8ers, peace out Audi 5000 Gzus I'm outta' here. Sincerely, MC Equalibrium (James Allen Davis).

Alva Skateboards, wheels, etc.
On 3/26/2000 James Allen Davis (MC Equalibrium) wrote in from (205.188.nnn.nnn)

Hey everybody, check this out. I posted barely over a year ago about where you could get Alva boards, etc., but it's changed slightly so I figured I should let you all know. You used to be able to see what Tony's lineup of boards was by looking at the "The Official As It Gets Tony Alva Webpages" at http://www.angelfire.com/ca/alva2/. It's still a great 'site if you're into the past to almost present of Tony Alva, and the rest of the Dogtown scene and history also. Many pictures, interviews, and links to other related 'sites as well. Well, a little while ago, the link on that 'site there disappeared that took you to where you could see the boards he has to offer and I didn't know why for sure so I called him up and asked him what is up. Well, he told me that there's a new 'site and it's http://www.tonyalva.com. Not too hard to remember, huh? Anyway, his stuff is on there and a few changes have occurred in the lineup of boards he offers although I'm sure he's still willing to custom make some boards under certain circumstances. Ask him, not me, about that. For the most part, the boards are mainly anything from a 8"x31.5" regular new school board, to a 38" more '80s shaped board. I asked him if he still makes the 42" epoxy glass longboard and he said yes but not a whole lot of them lately. But if that's what you'd be more interested in, which most people that use this 'site probably are, give him a call and see if he's got any or would be willing to make one for you. I'm sure he would although it might take a little while considering he'll more than likely wanna' make a batch of them all at once. Anyway, that's the new 'site's address, and their mailing address is still Alva Skateboards, 403-B Wisconsin Ave., Oceanside, CA, 92054, and the phone number is still (760)967-0595. If you want to, you can of course order from the new 'site also. Basically, it's a distribution company that Tony's took part in and it'd be easier for Tony overall unless you'd like a special order, then give him a call and he might just be able to help you out. Well, that's about all that I've gotta' say for now so with that, later sk8ers, peace out Audi 5000 Gzus I'm outta' here. Sincerely, MC Equalibrium (James Allen Davis).

possibly ACS Lites or 651s. They'd have to be in great condition, naturally.
