I'm so confused.

By the way Sledgehammer, I'm not trying to be confrontational or belittle you. We just have to look out for the young people in this world and not talk smut about youngsters. It ain't healthy for any of us. Please don't post about how he said it first. Lets just end it. Time to be positive in a crazy world. We adults have to protect our youth. Stay cool.

When will all this posturing end? Who cares who is toughest. We have to skate, not fight.
To me the posts are sounding like-
BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.
PS Sledgehammer, I have to agree with Nor Cal about you constantly brining up naked boys. What the "tribe" did was wrong, but it doesn't need to be re-hashed in the way you are doing it. After Cabbage has posted about his abducted son and the couple young guys posting, we need to think and act more positive. Sh#tty things are happening in this world to young people. Solutions not brain pollution.

Rules!? Ask to sk8!? maybe if you built it, It's a damn ditch it's not yours it's not mine, It's not even there to sk8, you guys are cryin like some one came into your backyard and showed you how to sk8 your own ramp/pool. I wouldn't offer a beer if you came to me with rules, I would laugh in your face take a couple runs and be out. Unless it was truly yours. A ditch is the cities property, chances are you were trespassing. anyway get out of junior high, learn gangs are for losers who can't handle their own, and sk8 like a man. Come to Abq with an attitude like that, and the ditch witch will give you all the beating of your life. We don't need to kick anyone's a$$, she takes care of it all. Sk8ing is for fun, keep it that way.

Palmer, you just inspired the greatest idea! For the next ditch contest, we should set up a bonfire along the flatbottom of the BEAR and have a jousting contest! And we can all have chains and spikes and try to run each other off the road for the Sandia race. Long Live Thrashin'! Let's just hope the vert ramp doesn't get burned down in the process.
How was your trip? When's the next pool party? I'll bring some Coors for ya!
GBMII - The wounds are healing nicley. Almost time to go make some more. How was pool day last Sunday? Did you guys skate much on Monday before everyone flew out? I had to rest my writing hand, I bruised/sprained it pretty good, and taking notes this week would've sucked if I had to use my left hand. Ahh, the subtleties of being both a skate dork and a math dork. The hipper I got from the roller-kid dropping in on me at Calvary is taking the longest to heal.
When are we gonna go get some practice runs in at Sandia?

Bottom line I respect everyone until they give me a reason not to. What the "tribe" to those sk8ers gets No respect from me. Norcal said he didn't take part, cool. Thats that, by the way Nor Cal and tribe maybe you can help me find my abducted son www.haveyouseenskye.com I know the "tribe" has rescources and all. "don't bring the world with you"
I felt like we broke that exact rule on the first big Bear race 2002. Sector 9 had a tent up in the flat bottom. The whole parking lot (which is for a business center that's half closed on Saturdays but is totally visible from the road) was FULL of ovbious skate vehicles, the most obvious being Chaput's tour bus/RV. All kinds of cameras going off, even barbecue grills going on in the parking lot, skate-tailgate party! And Hackett supplied the loud ass tunes via his dope Osiris boom-box backpack, Ted Nugent I believe. So there's another broken rule. And, hey, sometimes Sharon does chalk drawings at the Bear, does that count as graffiti? Thankfully no one broke any of the other rules. I never got a good picture of the full parking lot, but you can see the crowd under the tent in this picture:
http://www.unm.edu/%7Emoebius/states/NM/bear/joe_n_ginger%202.JPG
I guess what I'm trying to say is that you can bend the rules a bit if you do so in a respectful way.

This BS is way outta hand. I just called NOR CAL and told him to knock it off. I think all of the rest of you should cool it also. We all know the rules (?) of local spots and I think the people here in NCDSA follow them. People from opposite coasts threatning each other? Come on now. Let's skate, be cool, and have some f*ck*ng fun.

I'm 16 and i have only been ditch skating for a year but i have immense respect for my local spot and i have skated it with little kickflippers and skated it with a man and his two sons he had been skating the ditch since it was built in 1973 and every now and then someone steps out of line and we talk to them and usually its straight so what i am saying is...why can't we all just skate together the best way to improve your skating is to see others skate whether they be oldschoolers or kickflippers or whatever draw what inspiration from them that you can and cherish those sessions with those non-locals

Dude I sk8 spots with people, friends, travelers, and most importantly other skaters. Your "code" and your bmx'n, fruitboot "tribe" sucks if thats how you treat other sk8er's. Your attitude about this whole locals rule mentality is weak, and thats why your not gonna get respect. You are absolutly right about me not littering, no graffiti, no loud music, and don't bring the world with you. News flash everyone on this website knows this.
And,no I'm not saying the locals would be in trouble, I would probally be down with them anyway, yes I did say I would stand in the middle of your ditch and pull a Mike V on the, "tribe" if they tried that sh@t on me. In your town, at your precious ditch, yes. See this is why people tell me to stay off these message boards. Bottom line do what you like, but watch who you jump, you never know what could happen.
It's nice to see you let anyone( local of course) in your, "tribe" do you have any razor scooter/soap shoe "tribe" members.
I kinda get it now. Rock on Nor Cal I really don't care as much as you think, you just got me all charged up talk'n about sk8ers being jumped,I live for the moment a group like the "tribe" jump me. The "tribe" would need some dental work, thats all I'm say'n. Been alot more then glass you woulda been sweep'n up.
Do you ever skate anywhere else besides Nor Cal? your welcome with open arms at all my "top secret" ditches here in Baltimore, and guess what, there are no rules, I actually like the big graffiti pieces, they make our old ditches good for slides. And beer, I'll be sure to offer you one so I can escape with my life. Hell if you pitch in for beer, I might even take you to a backyard roundwall. I'm out, leave me out of this, and stop rating post you don't like.

I rip on him but he calls me stickman.i don't know why. one thing for sure is that he can skate faster than any of us young guys.i hope i can keep skating with him and he doesn't have to be our guard all the time. up here in the mountains we keep together while the cities have skate parks. its always people not from the mountains that are lame.

I wasn't there for the night "stripping", but I was there for the morning clean up and session (on a skate.) (Quick note: we have locals on skates, boots, and BMX. We all respect and live the code.) They never punched, kicked, or inflicted any GBH. Just humiliation. I do know that it happened and since then the ditch has been well respected.
We keep all names quiet. Just like spots, directions, etc. So, who really cares what my name is? I'm not running for Governor of California. I'm also not the REAL "bad ass" here. That guy is like Rambo in First Blood, but w/ a skateboard. He has crawlled all through South America as a Special Ops.
And yes, I am an idiot. Just like all of you and 99.9999999% of all humans stinking up this Earth.
Also, I wish I was 13. I wouldn't have to deal w/ bills, taxes, and people who write of boys in showers like you guys have (you've written it! Actually twice "Sledgehammer".)
Hey Cababge - You would listen to rules if they were - respect, no littering, no graffiti, no loud music, and don't bring the world with you. Nothing unreasonable. And you saying the locals would be in trouble if you came to OUR town? Then you calling me and our boys idiots? Seems as if you are saying the same things we are but you are invading someone elses local spot, not them on yours.
But you know what? The bottom line is being forgotten:
SECRET SPOTS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE SECRET! DEAL WITH IT! RESPECT IT!
