Hi gang my names Hayley Henson and im studying sports journalism. For one of my assignments im doing an article on 'womens lack of involvment in extreme (action sports)'. My only problem is i am having trouble getting a hold of sponsered, if not pro, skateboarding chicks to get their opion on my topic.

cleared every day 6pm+ and sat/sun.

Isabelle, Lynn, and all the other girls at poway today, it was rad to see you all out and ripping it up again!! Lynn you are INSANE and so gnarly on that course this afternoon!!! way to kick butt again! Isabelle, Judith and I are STOKED you want to come out and race some downhill, you will love it and be smiling the whole way down the hill! Bonelli is a great hill to start on!

Hey you guys, i haven't been in this site for a long time i guess it is only because i'm trying to do something more for the community. I used to live in Maryland, skating with guys from ECREW, John Dillion, Mona, Silver Spring-DC-Va skaters and sometime (very rare)with the slalom guys. Now living in Albuquerque, NM i've met and skated with Mike Leary, used to know Sharon, Teresa Trego, Tim and Nicole, other heads (just to keep it short). I'm that petite, asian chick riding her 7.75 Alien Workshop set-up, it's been awhile since i've touched my board. So i'm not sure you guys would remember me again ...i do disappear a lot, for good reason though. Here is what i am now working on ...

Hello Everyone! It was nice to meet you all last month. Since Lynn posted to Slalomranking.com I have become USA instead of Canada. Its the first time in my life I have been an honorary American. All will be corrected eventually.
I knew you girls were going to be good skateboarders, and I wasnt disappointed. Dont forget about me. Im reading the posts and wishing I could come back again sooner to play skateboards. But it may be next January around ASR time. Have a good 2006!

The girls RIPPED the Poway PumpHouse Outlaw race last Saturday. The am. women from encinitas RULED (Liz and Amy, and they both did their debute at the Downhill Diva Clinics) and Crystal from SD is getting her rythm, so watch out.
Wow, it's amazing watching girls get good......so inspiring.
As for Lyn, she RIPPED it as always - training hard does pay off - and SHE SPANKED ALL THE BOYS and WON the mens/am division (I made it better than half, which stoked me heavily).
The GS course was super fast, many men did not even make the course and walked away. As for those of us determined to rock it, patience and scrubbing of speed was paramount. The hill is not so fast as the laid course was. Ladies, if you wear contact lenses, I've learned the hard way - BUY GOOGLES or beware - skating fast 'n blind is SKETCHY!
Skater 4 life - that's what it gives.................

Wow- sorry I haven't been on, been helping Ricky Byrd work on some details for Luna this year. We have set it for May this year, Cinco de Mayo!!!!!! the 5th and 6th and maybe 7th? 5th and 6th for sure, with slalom in my FAVORITE spot, shaded park on the water, restaurants and BARS in skating distance down the boat docks... IT's GOING to be KILLER!!! So planning a trip to Cali just hasn't happened yet. Also, my new job is giving me Fat Tuesday off to go to Mardi Gras (I've never been!) so I've been planning, basically a bunch of debauchery and drunkeness in 2006 and SKATEBOARDING!!!! , but not to leave out a trip to California!!! YAY! So who's in? Lynn? :D I'd be stoked to see ya back!

Might be heading down in Feb if time and money allow. (You know how it goes, no time, no money.) But they say time is money, so if I can only figure out how to sell some I'd be at all those slalom gs's.
