Hey all. The new skatepark the city is building across the street from my house is on its way to being done. The workers are digging these huge holes that will eventually be cemented in. It's gonna be like 17,000 sq. ft. Can't wait. Everyone who comes to slalom week and the worlds this year has to come over and check it out. I live like 10 from Pacific and Main St.'s in Morro. Man it's raining today so no skating but i did go surfing in the rain. Very interesting. Hope everyone's gettin some skating in.
PS Lauren email me and maybe we'll skate soon. I'm leaving tonight for Dodge Ridge to go snowboarding with friends until sunday. Later guys.

Irony
On 2/14/2005 Lauren wrote in from United States  (208.14.nnn.nnn)

Hola Senoritas!
Long time no chat. Isn't it ironic that those who have the wonderful sunlight in california head for the snow as soon as the season starts? I admit that i have been snowboarding more this season than skating... but i've gotten a few skate sessions in. A big storm is expected to come in tonight... rain, rain and more rain. which means no skate, and no snow. what am i going to do?
Katii there is a kinda good side to snow... at least you can board it. you cant really board rain except surf... but surfing in the rain/thunderstorms isnt very fun or safe for that matter.
I hope ya'll are having a romantic Valentines day. I've spent my valentines day watching sappy movies and eating loads of m&m's. well not really...
More like rocking out to green day and baking cookies with m&m's. mmmmmm.
Wouldn't that be fun if we could all have had a singles only skate session (katii your invited: if your single that is). Ok now i'm just jabbering. What I've meant to say is Happy Valentines day, Single or not!
Email me or IM me for that matter (RoscoRevenge).
later chicas!
Lauren

Hey Katii. While your stuck in the snow you should ask your mom for an Indo Board. There these really awsome balance trainer boards and i got one for christmas. It's really helped my skating and surfing alot. I love it. You should ask your mom about it or see if a friend has one. hope you get to skate soon. later.

Hey Katii what's happening? How have u been since worlds. I've been skating almost everyday mostly longboarding and huntin for the biggest hill in town. No luck so far my place is pretty flat. Surf has been decent too. Stay warm out in the snow. Talk to you soon.

I have been longboarding for 7 months now and I recently went to visit family up in Florida. I found this really great trail to go pumping on however I will be heading back to Cali where I live. so far I haven't found any kool places in cali to skate. I live in the bay area look me up 95129 area code.

sure in my area there are parking lots but they always seem to be packed.

Perhap someone can recomend a great place in the bay area.
