WX report
On 3/7/2008 mc3 wrote in from United States  (168.103.nnn.nnn)

I'm getting more snow this weekend. Thank you so much to DT and the people involved in putting on these Cali series events. There should be a couple annual events in Socal during the winter just to keep the wheels spinning. Brunson and I are luging this evening, very illegal, fast, and dangerous. Oh yeah the best time EVER! Very clandestine and no mo info til we succeed. Good luck to everybody Down Under...Raggie, Mischo, Scoot, Will (bomb squad) who else is making it? Josh it must be a cheaper ticket from Hawaii?

On 3/6/2008 robmc3 wrote in from United States  (168.103.nnn.nnn)

Ya'll ride top mounts huh? I guess I gotta find me one of them...I got one round here somewhere. Mr. Kludy I'm glad to hear your goin to be there, might be fun to go cougar huntin rather than waiting around to be hit in the face with flour. I get in Thursday so I will be making plans this week and thank you for the offer. Mercado and I were talking shredding Thursday, maybe bring the snow set up. I still have to get the time off work or this could be a bust for me. DC, Thanx for hosting us. You and Molt got to run the bike path from the top of Vail Pass to Copper (beers in hand and no helmets) and that's what JG's posted link would be great for. JG it looks like it would work but certainly an investment just to find out. It takes the time trial I have in mind to the next cool level. Thanx for the link. gone riding, 20F high temp today

Rad, dudes!
I am so very stoked you guys plan on coming. It will be fun. I don't know how to post pics but the hill is minor. Steep start with a 90 right, pretty much straight(you don't break tuck) into an lefty that almost like danger bay, but a little faster and that's it! Call me if you need anything.

On 3/5/2008 rob wrote in from United States  (168.103.nnn.nnn)

It would be really cool if ya did, ya travel round the World and there's a race you could drive to...so see ya there. I've got a ticket to get out there but getting outta work is kinda dicey. I bought the ticket with a voucher I received for taking a later flight last year, so I'm out a lil cash if it doesn't happen. I don't know where were goin? Buy your plane tickets now, oil prices just hit a new high. Your rope will not get cheaper. Driving to events is getting expensive. Financial Sk8 Services

That's right, never leave the door open. Any good racer will knows what to do with that. I think that your speed forum is a perfect place to talk tactics.
Or is that tic tacs?

Skate Schooled
On 3/2/2008 rob wrote in from United States  (168.103.nnn.nnn)

I left the door open coming outta the previous turn and new you had it with the finish coming up. That made me look at the course not from top to bottom but from the finish up. Those last couple turns if your not exiting to be inside on the next one...well you know. I think I had Will top to bottom and just didn't give him what I gave you, the door. He saw some light coming under the crack and tried to fit in a space as wide as his shoulders with a hand on my back. I know Will is such an awesome skater that if I didn't take him out he wasn't going to take us. Loved that heat.

That set up. Has anybody been running Paris Trucks in those ditches? I think ya'll are a great testing area. I've been bombing em on the pass and running the hangers on the speed board.

I should go to DC's Birthday...Price you go I'll go? Wonder if there's room in the van?

I was tearing down my Radikal's to clean em after Barrett and I bent an axle...sniff. Love that hill!

On 3/2/2008 price wrote in from United States  (67.164.nnn.nnn)

i was just watching some of Ricker's footie from the 2006 sandia DH. the heat with you, me, jonh rogers and ?..i beat you for 2nd place to advance. i remember you scaring the F**K out of me after i passed you, you made this gutteral scream.."OOOOOAAAAHHHH!!!" you can clearly hear it in the video. i thought i was being chased by a bear. then you went and beat brunson in the consi by almost pushing him into the hay.

lets do it again!

mayble me and brunson can come up for your little race, i've been wanting to ride those bike paths for years!

Ditch Slap your Mom's Day
On 3/2/2008 rob wrote in from United States  (168.103.nnn.nnn)

Plan on the first "Pass to Copper" on May 11th Mother's Day. More info will become available as I'm too far out to start pumping it. 6 mile time trial, could snow, couple tech turns, bike path quality, one of the most beautiful runs you'll ever take. I hope those of you driving to Ditch Slap can make some time to come thru the high country. If you are interested in this Mother's Day event please email me.

Ditch Slap for me is a blast but I'm a one trick pony and I really wanna drink bear and take runs down Sandia. Last year I put on my leathers, got all worked up and hit the second cone in Indian School just to waste everybody's time and blow another qualified riders chance. I'm just trying not to come in last and that's hard.

That board is merely a canvas for stickers. I think those NEW Sector 9 wheels look bitch'n on the yellow deck. I'm just throwing parts together cause it won't stop snowing!
