I know the race was a couple of weeks ago, but this is the first chance I have had to post.
I want to thank all of the sponsers of the BLR/Radikal Outlaw Series(to many to list).
I want to thank David & his lovely wife Zanna for their hospitality AGAIN.
Mark & I will not be coming to the March BLR race, because we will be at the NHRA GatorNationals watching 2,500lb cars doing over 330 mph in a quarter mile in about 4.5 seconds.
Later Keith, Team Radikal.

Not a day for practice, a whole day to qualify. I know the slalomers understand what a difference that would make for race day. Remember La Costa? Or Breck? Dave, nice shot of your TSR gloves at the pump station. Thieves got'em? That's a pretty risky heist.

Hackett: Were mushrooms involved in the writing of that last post? Dude, I thought I was sitting in a smokey coffee shop, beads hanging all around, some chic in the corner slow dancing with killer ass Go Go Boots on, and Hendrix playing in the background, while you I was reading that! Groovy man!
I don't care what others say, this forum is by far the most entertaining on NCDSA...followed closely by your spandex wearing friend Mollica's!
And your right about Mr. Coleman...from what I have read, seen, and heard from so many people that are helping me plug in to the skateworld, he is definitely worth emulating!
Thanks for the forum!

Dateline L.A.: Where many a good tan hides a slow burn.
Hackett, dope downhill shot, and poster! You are a born promoter. Richie, SSS rules! But BLR serves it cold, ice cold.
Your going down brown man!
THe olson twins: (Steve and Greg) Profanity and vulgar homophobic rantings can only result in one thing.
A duel in the sun.
Speaking of which. I need all Slalom racers to start lobbying Joe Lehm to have a high speed, 3 minute GS, set by me, at Merryhill this summer. That hill could be the greatest GS of all time and it would bring both worlds together, United we stand!
Kenny Mollica, Mitch, C. Bark, Fluitt, SSS, Hackett, BLR, Mike Maysey, Jack, Skate Kings, Bad H., Coss, all the top pros should get behind the idea. GS on Sat. DH on Sunday. Just like the world cup.
Joe: my agenda is speed! (on wheels)
Please respond to this concept. Joe wants two days for the DH, one full day practice. That's the day for the worlds fastest, longest, GS ever! Downhillers meet coneheads. It would be a great event.
Merryhill is a perfect slope for GS, and it's two miles of butter. Who's with me? What do you guys think?

DOG HOUSE
GS spot at the neighborhood dog park. Cool dogs there. Sippi takes the first attack. Brown mutt pissed off to see him there on a board. Chased the mofo down through cones from the top of the fastest course. That was a hell of a good laugh. Sippi gonna get good.

Dave,
The Dowhill photo of you is awesome! I want a copy with an autograph please. The photo brings back so many great memories! I don't remember where I placed in Slalom. The Downhill was the thing for me. I went unsponsored but confident. no one knew who I was or about me from the clay wheel era. It gave me a chance to race against the very best in the Downhill world. You, Alva, Piercy, Hutson, Hart, Krisik, Goldman and every other racer who was anyone at the time. Before I left Catalina I was sponsored by Santa Cruz. Regarding the race, we got to practice on the course with the timing set up. Everyone was checking to see how they were doing, and how other racers were stacking up. The "Wall" was also a big factor for many. It was lined with hay bales, but many went down and into those same bales. The next day was qualifying and I ended up 1st, followed closely by Jamie Hart. In the finals I ended up 4th at what I consider my favorite contest ever.
Wide World of Sports covered the event and Jim Lampley was the Color Commentator. Everybody in Skateboarding showed up. The Freestyle guys were there also. Pineapple, Russ Howell and I think Steve Cathey. The location was great, the food was great and the party was better!
Now, how about that signed autographed photo?
