front foot

Anyone notice how twisted his front foot is compared to the angle his lower leg is at? Ah, to be young and agile again...

The deck looks like a Zephyr, the trucks look like Bennetts and the move is a bert. The person and the bank looks familiar but I can't place them. Is that you Hackett? Is that Paul Revere school? Road Riders? 1976?

Just thought I'd try

Steve S.

I MADE IT!
On 2/17/2005 HACKETT - BLACK LEATHER RACING wrote in from United States  (68.71.nnn.nnn)

Thanks for the props jjackson, JBH, Katie and Steve...

Yes, I made it. Twice. This shot is actually the SECOND time I did
it. The first time the photographer missed the shot; and I busted this deck.
Then I did it again (what you see here) and made sure to land directly over the
trucks as the deck was cracked from the first BOMB!

A Black Leather Racing Tee and a set of KHIRO bushings for the first person
to guess who this is; what year; the move; the place; and the board, wheels and deck.

Good Luck!

Hackett's drop
On 2/17/2005 JBH wrote in from United States  (165.134.nnn.nnn)

Amazing photo from an old Thrasher (1986?). The drop itself is super-burly, and the timing of the photo is impeccable. Check that midair foot placement (both hers and his). Henri Cartier-Bresson would be proud.

And did he land it? My name's not on the forum, so it's not my place to say. But I've seen "Future Primitive" enough times to know...

On 2/17/2005 WAHL wrote in from United States  (192.45.nnn.nnn)

Hackett,

That picture of Olson on Ricky's couch in Oregon brings back some ugly memories. As I recall you bounced that shoe off his head to put an end to his snoring....Stubbs, what's your secret because booze, pain killers and ear plugs just didn't work for me that evening.

Below: A young Olson pulling a Smith grind that is so old it's new again at a popular Long Beach skate spot.

SNORING
On 2/17/2005 Eddy wrote in from United States  (207.69.nnn.nnn)

As far as snoring goes I believe Mark Mc Cree takes that title. Look up snoring under the ( search } section. 5/27/03 Chris Chaput has a poem for Jack and Mark since they were roomates at St Louis 100 cones race 2003. " It's raining it's pouring, the old man is snoring." Love ya Mark. Eddy Texas Outlaws.

Lost and Found
On 2/17/2005 Eddy wrote in from United States  (207.69.nnn.nnn)

Better yet ask OlSoN who found his wallet in the parking lot at the Days Inn at the Worlds, the wallet was intercepted by John O, and StEvEs drivers license was set ablaze. OLsOn was very grateful to get his wallet back. I wonder what StEvE OLsOn Indy wallet would go for on ebay. Your Amigo Eddy Texas Outlaws.
