Joe - I know all about the cash game and how hard it is to raise the cash we should be getting.
So it looks like winner take all..... I'm cool with that.
What about the course and starting protocols???
Any changes? I hear there are a lot of new dots out there. Among other things.
16 to win.

Watch what you say or you just might get held to it. I'll hold my tongue on how much cash will go to whom on which days because as you know George, s#@! happens! And when it does they all come looking for the promoter, who by then is flat broke. $1000 for the Bear winner, $100 for the Style contest winner, $500 for the combined events winner and rubber snakes and pennies for everyone else! We have prizes flowing from Gravity, Dregs, Flood Kontrol, Carver, Pressure Drop and TSR. The one thing you can always count on is what you always get at TSR events.....T-Shirts, Sunburns, Safety Checks, and endless shuttles up perfect ditches.
Hey Hackett, does Deathbox want to be the sponsor for the Death Race at Los Altos?

Tell us about the course Joe, has anything changed?
Tell us about the cash and prizes Joe, anyone other than Dreggs?

Joe,
Ricker won't even beat you. Forget about him beating Palmer. It sounds like you are living vicariously through the fast guys. The only question you should be concerned with is: How are YOU going to win?
How long again until race day?

Biggest Baddest

Now that I've set down my meth pipe long enough to clear my head, I can see that this is exactly the kind of claim that can only be settled at the end of the season wtih the US National Skateboard Racing Title and $2000 based on ALL types of racing. Biggest? Baddest? Sounds like ABQ to me! Palmer is more ABQ than BLR, but he was born a Hillbilly!
Wills new leathers are BRIGHT Orange, not black. We'll see who comes close to him at the Bear, probably Ryan Ricker, then Palmer. And the National Title, your boy Palmer has already said he's out of the running 'cause there's some kinds of racing that he won't do. How about O'Shei?

Joe, what are you talking about?
What rivelry? Will Brunson IS TSR...
BLR has no Rivelry with Will...In fact he's More BLR than TSR!
You need to lay off the Meth Pipe bro-
BLR IS THE BIGGEST BADDEST SKATEBOARD RACING TEAM PERIOD.
NO OTHERS EVEN COME CLOSE.
PS- PALMER WAS BORN BLR

Who's not staying around for the crosstown? I ran it the other day (at least the top half) and it was too cool! Several near death experiences, cars honking at me, it was totally fun!!
Not only that, but if the rest of the weekend doesn't kill your legs, the crosstown will. It's mostly downhill, but you still need to pump or push to win. Oh, and get lucky too.

Good job Stubbs, I cherish that sesh we had here with Olson at Skate School, and the snowball fight too! Hack, you're right about the fro, it's slowing me down bro, I need to talk to my hairdresser. Palmer, thanks for correcting the podiums for the Bear, Brunson did win in a tie breaker, and Miller is right, BLR can't claim that you were representing them on your first win 'cause you were a NOBODY, riding a Dregs pintail, and looking for a sponsor. That's the way it should be. You show up, kick ass and get respect, right George?
Old men, tail winds and huge ass boards will rule again. The BLR/TSR rivalry will pale at this years Bear because a NOBODY is going to win it, then we'll all be scrambling to put them on the team and claim their glory for ourselves. Too bad you guys aren't sticking around for the rest of the weekend, the crosstown is really a DH in disguise, and the $500 for the combined winner will motivate some of the Bear 'losers' to go for it.

When PALMER won in 2003, wasn't he like Hillbilly racing, or Redneck chaw spittin' racing or something? Didn't the BLR come after?

Saturday's WaveHouse Session was AWESOME!!
We all showed up (except Olson) at 12 Noon- Signed our lives away, and went for it!
Here's a semi-group shot at the start of the session, me, DJ, Budro, Brewington, Marcus, Chicken and Mercado- Olson and Jason Mitchel not shown...
Here's a shot of Brewington throwing a "Cut Back".
Budro got fancy and busted some Rock&Rolls...
Here's Chicken ROCKETING out of the barrel...UNBELIEVABLE!!
Here's our buddy "DJ" who charged hard!...
Mercado showed some style and got some great rides!..
Marcus from Sector Nine, threw some mean laybacks and Awesome rides!
Olson was "Slotted" as usual...
But took some mean slams!! HA HA!!
Jason Mitchell was a natural and rode the barrel with ease!!
Until he surrendered to the pipe God!!
And, of course, I had the time of my life with a bunch of my bros...
Until I got HUCKED and SUCKED- Over the falls!!
Thanks to everyone who showed up, we all had a blast, and will be going for a 2 hour session next month- Stay tuned for the date and time!!
HACKMAN- THE GNAR!!

Thank you Bara and Fadell for putting on the race. The course was a blast! Highlights were Danforth's Budweiser-injected run and subsequent finish-line beef (ouch!) and skatepark owner George's attempts on the course. I thought he had it on his last run. I found it interesting that the top three racers were all street skaters. Who was that guy racing in just his underwear and helmet? A final thanks to George for hosting the event and of course BLR for supplying swag to the winners.
