As always, I learned a ton from all of you. I have a really fine bruise on the left hip that's providing good color, darn cones - who needs 'em! Anyway, I think we are looking at the weekend of September 15-16 for a Spokane event. Not sure what we'll plan. Thanks to Pat C. for volunteering to bring timing equipment. This first one will be pretty low key as we gain experience but we promise lots of fun in a cool little park. It will be outlaw and Mark will post more details later. We'll have floor space if anybody wants to throw down a sleeping bag. Do not plan on staying at our place if you are allergic to cats or dogs :)     Rate post 278278 ! There was an event going on in the park which presented some interesting obstacles near the finish line like: Water hazard when they filled the base of a potable basketball hoop. Cars parked on the side of the hill. People running across the track. Strollers Basketballs But we just pressed on, using a pre-chalked course and then modifying it slightly as the day went on.
